Friday I stopped by Walgreens and purchased CeraVe AM and Pm moisturizers. After my usual evening routine I used the PM CeraVe I was really happy with how soft and smooth my skin was in the morning. So after the usual morning routine I used the AM CeraVe (I think together both products didn't cost more than 25$)I thought it was a little greasy. That night again I used the PM lotion , in the morning OMG, it plumped up ALL the fine lines around my eyes and lips and my lips themselves! I re tried the AM lotion only used less, it wasn't greasy, I used too much. 3RD night used the PM lotion definite difference on nasolabial folds, really hydrated my skin, my neck looks and feels smoother my hands are smoother. This stuff is amazing. I really put my skin through a lot, I use dermabrasion , and now after my retin A, I add AHA, CeraVe took care of the dry spots and flaking. It contains,CERAMIDES, NIACINAMIDE, AND HYLURONIC ACID,And those ing's are way up at the top of the list, all for about 11$ |

rmc7 I was reading up on this cream and noticed that it was great for Eczema etc.
My question is whether or not you use it on your body or just your face? I suffer from Eczema on my arms, legs etc and would love to try this out as it seems great and also great value for money.
Is it like a sorbolene cream or something a little different? I did notice that it contains Hyaluronic Acid and I must say for the price I was impressed with this, as when I use products containing this acid it really plumps up my skin and keeps it hydrated without being greasy. |

I bought the Big round jar of CeraVe cream for my body. I use it on my legs and feet in particular they get so winter dry now they are so nice. No flaking. But I do use it just about every where else!
That HA really does plump things up! I put extra on my 61 year old lips. KISS, KISS !!! |

CeraVe is terrific. I use it on my hands but my favorite is to use it for facial massage. It's the perfect cream for this. (big tub version). |

How do you use this for facial massage? I have the Ceravie in the tub and it sinks in completely leaving no slip at all? (I do not get any plumping from this product. To me it is just a good basic moisturizer that has good barrier repair ingredients in it.) |

That's why I prefer oils for massage, creams sink in way too fast! |

I've posted before about cerave..but will chime in again. I use the cream cleanser on my face and the big tub of cream on my body after my bath.
This cream is fantastic. Use it on wet skin right out of the tub and it seals in moisture and makes skin so much younger! If you have dry or itchy skin..it will cure it. It is one of my favorite beauty items. |

I am not questioning that in any way, just creams other than very oily creams made for massage and oils are what work for massage.
A good moisturizing cream should sink into the skin! |

Might be because I have oily skin to start with but the CeraVe is my favorite massage medium. I've used others (oils, etc) but this allows me the best movement and feel of my face for massage.
To each his own. |

I just thought of this but the oils I use: Baobob or Marula - these Sink right into my skin just like you described a good moisturizing cream to do. Isn't that funny. Cerave actually works for me differently.
Dark Moon and Riley you two both frequently share the same opinions about things. Must have similar skin, etc. |

Some oils sink in quickly, others usually heavier don't.
Riley and I had similar skin until after her wonderbar trial and since then she's had more of a sensitivity issue along with dryness at times from her posts.
I still have very normal non-reactive skin. |

Guess I could use a heavier oil but that doesn't appeal ... happy with Cerave. |

I've been using the tub as well for my arms and legs. My dermatology PA recommended it when I complained about my dry and bumpy elbows. I especially like it when I apply over coconut oil – it negates any oily feeling and leaves my skin incredibly soft. I also use the facial cleanser but I don't think it has enough moisture for my dry skin. |

It is but you have to buy it online for now.

It doesn't have the entire product line but it will get there. Let me know if you need a coupon for it if you do decide to order. |

OMG! Thank you so much! I have to give this a try! Should I wait until Canada Post strike is over before I order? |

No if you read the little box on the right hand side on the main page, they said not to worry about the strike since they will be shipping with UPS/Purolator |

Yes, I love that site.. I've found so many things that I could not find in department stores. However, don't let the free shipping trick you. They bump up the prices of all their products so they can afford to ship for free. They don't differ by much, but if you can find something in your local department store, go get it there instead. Anyways, glad you found it helpful! |
