A year ago, I injested an antibiotic to which I, quickly discovered, am allergic. After the nausea settled in, my skin began to break out in hives. Major hives - from the tips of my toes to the lobes of my ears - all except...my face and neck. "How odd," I thought, "that just this bit of skin would be spared."
Now I like to think my rather lavish taste in beauty potions had something to do with this small miracle.
I have been using Decleor Sensitive and Reactive products since 2002 and love it thoroughly! |

Wow, that's great to hear! Thanks for sharing the story.
Since I have sensitive/reactive skin, I'd love to know which Decleor products you use.

Hey k.a.t.
Sounds like my reaction to any tetracycline based antibiotic together with super-duper-nausea! I had a reaction to it a few years back and it took about a week for the full-body rash to go away. I wish I was using Decleor back then! Glad you've found something that really works for you. Though I don't have sensitive skin, I'd still like to find out which products it is that you're using.

Hi Alohagirl, Mabsy,
I use the cleansing water, rose d'orient oil, & harmonie soothing cream in the morning. At night, I use the cleansing milk and tonifying lotion followed by the rose d'orient balm (I am considering a switch to the foaming cleanser 'cause I like using water when removing make-up. Have you tried this yet?).
Not only do I love the texture and smell of these productsl, but I also have noticed a significant decrease of red patches on my chin and cheeks and an increase in moisture! My skin does not feel itchy anymore!
Cheers! |

Hi k.a.t.
Decleor foaming cleanser is my favorite. It doesn't really foam up much, but it easily removes makeup including waterproof mascara.
I, too, prefer cleansers that rinse away with water because they leave your skin feeling nice and clean. Also, using a non-rinse off cleanser requires a cotton pad soaked with toner. Cotton feels like sandpaper to my sensitive skin.
