Could someone please give me advice on choosing products for my 14-year old son?
He's really starting to break out now, and yesterday when I touched his face, I was horrified to discover several cysts under the skin. He's a gorgeous boy, so I really want to get this under control before permanent scars occur.
All the acne products seem to be formulated for controlling oily skin. But his face is never shiny--it seems more like "normal to dry."
Any advice? Thanks! |

If you want to go the less expensive route, Walgreens sells a version of proactive called KlearAction. My son is 17 and has bad acne. He has been using that for about a month and it's cut it down in half or more. |

Thanks, Wenron. What is your son's skin type? I ask because KlearAction and ProActiv contain benzoyl peroxide, which is supposedly unsuitable for dry skin.
