MD Formulations and Bare Escentuals same thing?

Hi

Are MD Formulations and Bare Escentuals the same company?

I've noticed MD stuff with BE on here and I've also received a BE foundation kit which has MD cleanser with it.

Are they the same company?

They are two very different companies but they are friends Smile

Yes, these two companies are affiliated. MD Formulations owns id Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals. The glycolic cleanser is ideal for using before the mineral make-up, as it gently exfoliates, giving skin a smooth, refined texture. Otherwise, with "cling-ons", the loose mineral foundations, will cling to those ares, and thus, you'll have an uneven application!:P
