Hi everyone
I'm new to posting here but I've been lurking for ages...
I can't seem to find a good lip balm with spf for use in the day. I live in Asia and with the heat etc here really feel that I need something with "real" protection for day use. I would love something with zinc oxide or similar in it to use but that won't leave my lips dry or white.
All my favourite lip balms don't have spf at the moment and therefore don't really do the job except at bed time!
The last one I ordered was from OZ by Ganehill and its a tinted lip & cheek balm with invisible zinc but its just okay not great. My main problem with it - its not normal lippie sized its bigger than say a quarter so its very chunky and difficult to apply and I hate applying things with my fingers and I'm not organised enough to have a brush handy!
Anyone had a product that they just love and that they know want the active spf ingrediant is? |

You should check the ingredient list, which shows you if the product really contains the ingredient with sunscreen function.
I do not trust lip balm with spf as well, but I believe using such product would be at least more safe. |

Most lip balms dont have reliable protection so it can be hard to find one.
Jane Iredale lip drink spf 15 is great. It has 8% ZO. |

Elizabeth Arden 8 hrs lip balm is easy to find in Asia. And I do recommend MAC lip tinted conditioner, kind of likes a multi-function product. |

I just wanted to second that this is my favorite spf lip balm too. I use it all the time, and it's both moisturizing and protective. I'm never without it! It's also sold under the name "H\E Lip Balm by H\E Minerals," which is the men's version of Jane Iredale. It's actually what I use because I found it to be less expensive at some stores: http://www.dermstore.com/product_H+E+Lip+Balm_6867.htm |

MAC lip conditioner comes with SPF15 and easy to find everywhere.
Another good choice is the Kiehl's lip balm. The famous #1 lip balm has spf4 and there also other choices from kiehl's too. |
