I purchased the blender/retin-a March 17th and am still using it every night with the exception of a week being on vacation. I have seen a big improvement in my skin, I'm just concerned about using it too long. My derm never mentioned only using it for a certain period of time.
Around the middle of may I also purchased Obagi-C Cleanser, serum and day lotion which I have also been using. I only use the serum every other day or when I feel I need more of a boost.
Any help with this would be great! Thank you! |

I'm still using the Blender mixed with Renova .05%. It's been almost two years for me now. It sounds like your only using a few products not the whole regimen. I see nothing wrong with that. |

My derm told me to use it for 18 weeks and then to go into a Maintenence phase. I'm not really sure though...i need to ask for clarification. |

I'm currently using the Obagi Nuderm system -- just finished my 9th week. I'm planning on continuing for the full 18 weeks (maybe 24) and then follow a maintenance plan. I'll probably incorporate some of the Obagi products, but I will definitely continue using Retin A. I think it's extremely effective for anti-aging and keeping wrinkles at bay.
One of my biggest issues is hyperpigmentation and I do not want that to return when I complete my Obagi cycle. So, I will also keep using some kind of skin bleaching product as well. |

Hi Hascallmarie,
Since you're fighting melasma, have you considered purchasing the product Clear from the Obagi Nuderm system. I think it's very helpful in fading hyperpigmentation. I know you're also using the Blender/Retin a, but maybe adding another Nuderm product would help even more. Just a thought... |

Is the Nuderm effective for large area of freckles? Will it make skin thinner? |
