Don't you just love it when they show pictures of someone using a product to get rid of cellulite who doesn't have any cellulite. I suppose they want me to believe I am going to look like that after I buy and use their product. Actually this company is no different than the rest of them.

I'm not using the dermaroller but I do use another faceroller and after 3 weeks of use I can see a difference, there were some people on this forum wanting to get more info on this product so I just update. I do believe that the needling, absorps products better ...

Ah now I get the "mouse" thing. It looks like a computer mouse. But, I still hate rodents.

I've never used the dermaroller and I don't think I'd be willing to use it on my face, although I have read some interesting reviews about its use.

For some reason, I find this less objectionable. This is the first time I've come across this device. I'd be interested in hearing more about it.

I'm interested in the Beauty Mouse. I'm expecting my dermaroller any day now. Please anyone who finds out - post if the Beauty Mouse will be available in the U.S. Thanks!

I was just reading the instructions from the website http://www.dermaroller.de/BM1.htm
The needles are only .15mm in length. The site says the serum you put on after is to increase collagen production, and therefore decreasing the appearance of cellulite. I'm wondering if it would be more effective to use say the Novaderm with it's .75mm needles, or any other brand with again longer needles. It would take longer to roll with our little rollers...I don't know, just thinking.

I hope that's not the only size they are making or I will be disppointed. I'd opt for a .75 and spend a hour a night rolling myself from head to toe.

Is it just me, or does it look like a sex toy? Only, if it doesn't get rid of your cellulite I wonder if you can use it elsewhere?! .......... Another load of balony hits the market! Smile

I'm with you, Beru. Although it would give my husband yet another reason to think I'm off my rocker, rolling ALL OVER MY BODY with my little gadget. Well, I am off my rocker, but won't admit it to him!! Laughing Laughing

Thanks for the info, Beru. I sent them an email requesting they add me to the release list for the U.S. as well.

I don't know about the needle length difference - if it will affect my decision. I still haven't received my dermaroller (C8 home use model).

I recieved an email today informing me the beauty mouse will be available in 2 sizes. One consumer .15mm and a physician roller 1.5 mm.

I love rodents! Hamsters, bunnies, mousies. I don't know if hedgehogs qualify as rodents, but this company should call one of their products a hedghog, what with the spiky aspect to them.

I am very interested in this thing too -- makes sense to poke holes in the skin to deliver the really important stuff more deeply -- am I getting the main purpose right?

What do others believe are the most important materials to infuse into the dermis? peptides? vitamin c? copper?

I've spent a ridiculous amount of time researching this on the acne.org site as well as through google. The topicals that consistently seem to be recommended after rolling are: retin-a, cp's (not the super serum),and vit c serum. What I've been doing is alternating nights- one night retin-a and cp, the other vit c and retin-a. Somewhere along the way, I picked up that the topicals need to be applied within 30-60 minutes after rolling to get the benefit of deeper penetration, before the tiny holes close. If you're sensitive to Retin-a, be very very careful, since more of it will actually be absorbed into your skin, vs when you haven't rolled.
At the same time, I've read about needling in general, for acne scars, as well as wrinkles. The deeper needles, like on the medical grade rollers, can stimulate collagen development. This can take a while ( up to 3-6 months ). I've been using diabetic lancets (can be puchased without a prescription) on a few deep wrinkles- the "11" between the eyes, and some deep smile lines by my mouth. It really does seem to be helping these. The thing you need to be careful about, when needling for collagen, is not to be too aggressive with exfoliation. Apparently it could damage the new collagen that is forming. So, I've put my clairisonic on the backburner for the time being.
If I spend much more time working on my face, I'm going to send myself a bill!! Rolling Eyes
