I don't think you made a mistake. I use BE, not very often but I don't wear make up very often. Its the only foundation I can wear without making me feel like I have something on. I hate that feeling. It does do a good job of covering up BUT, you better be well moisturized because it will cake around pimples and sink into fine lines after awhile. (Maybe a line filler would help with that) But thats just my experience with it. I am sure others have more expertise in this area. |

Thanks for sharing your experience with me. I will try the BE for a few weeks and see how I like it. Any experience with BE in hot, humid weather? |

I couldn't use BE because of the bismuth. My mom & sister had to stop b/c it made their face burn when outside in the heat (LA).
For application, follow the directions, a little goes a long way. Swirl, swirl, swirl & tap the brush. IMO it seems if you wait just a few seconds after initial application the coverage intensifies, then you can decide if more minerals are needed. I would also suggest some sort of primer or base. Really helps achieve a nice finish. |

i bought BE on my beauticians recommendation but i find that even if i only put a small amout it looks pastey and cakey on my face from close up. i only use it now to conceal but even on small sectios of the face its very detectable. |

I love BE. I've been using it faithfully for about three years now. When you first start using it, it takes some time to get used to it because it is different. Different in texture and the way you apply it. So give yourself time to adjust and get the hang of it.
I've found as of recent that using a product that clears away the dead skin cells on a regular basis so your skin is really smooth and clear, really helps this makeup to look its best. Also, make sure your skin is well hydrated.
I love BE and would never go back to liquid foundation, ever.
And one more thing....Be sure to get the right foundation color and mix two colors together if you have to, to match your skin tone. |
