benefit is sheer. I use the benetint, but they do a gel type one as well I believe. I think ruby and millie do a gel blush as well. I think that you may find that the gel type ones are the best to go for to achieve the look you want. Alternatively, you could try using lipstick, as that has a nice sheer finish! |

Do you mean a powder one that goes over your makeup? Or a gel one?
I've got the Dr Hauschka bronzing concentrate and I add that to my moisturiser every morning. I'm very pale but this gives me a nice healthy color. I'd recommend that one if you're after a liquid one. It can be used by itself as well, as opposed to mixing it in with moisturiser.

I find that using a pressed powder foundation that's slightly darker than my skin tone gives me a light tan look. I just dust it very sparingly all over over my normal powder foundation. I don't know anyone else who does this though.. |

Hey, I find that bronzer often looks to dark for me as well. I have been using MAC most recently, which I like. I also tried my friends NARS bronzer and bronzing stick (highlights and tans) which I like even more and am definitly going to switch to that once my bronzer is gone. |

I've got some of my colleagues and clients now using Murad's Tinted SPF 15 for Face. It is fabulous stuff, and works well on most skintones. I kid you not. |

Casper's Mum - is that the Oil-free Sheer Tint SPF15 you're talking about? I love that one - has a really natural color. It looked great on my pale skin.
Yes, this is a GREAT product! |

Now you do! I use a slighty darker shade of MMU in summer and i get a lovley really light tan colour. Everyone compliments me on my great colour. I swish a touch of bonzer pearls(cheap Physicians Formula) with a brush over my MMU and i look like i've been sunning.
Only my family knows that at night i revert to my usual pasty white face....sort of like the beast in Beauty and the Beast.... |

I too like Dr Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate mixed in with moisturiser.
I also think that the idea of buying a slightly darker face powder is an excellent idea, also check out some of MAC's sheertone blushers, they have a wonderful colour selection and a light bronze one would work well as a bronzer. |

For a powder bronzer, I like MAC. For a liquid that gives a sunkissed glow, I like Chanel's Sheer Brilliance. |

I normally have VERY pale skin in the summer and I have had success with the following:
Clinique Bronzer for MEN! (A little goes a long way)
Benefit Dallas Powder
BE Warmth
Covergirl Bronzer is nice too.
I have an olive complexion so I'm not sure if these would look too orange on you. |

I too like MAC bronzer in Golden, I'm light toned. I also like Pure Luxe Sunkissed, it's not orange but it is rosy. Just realized I use MAC's Golden almost every day now, it's really my favourite. Totally neutral shade, brown not orange at all. What I've been looking for a in a bronzer for years! |

Clinique has a new one out for summer, it looks like a mosaic of tiles of colour, quite shimmery , but looks beautiful on. It has bronzes, peaches and pinks in one compact, (forgot the name though), it is new for the 2006 summer collection though. |
