I had a floor mate that finally gave out. I was not too thrilled with that anyway, as I felt it did not really do a good job of cleaning the dirt. I am looking for something new to clean my tile floors. I have 2 beagles who love to dig and have dirt all the time. Do any of you use the microfiber mops? |

I LOVE my microfiber mop. Mine came with two pads. This way I always have a clean one on hand. I wet the pad and squeeze out well. Clear water does a good job of cleaning tile and finished hardwood floors. Highly recommended. I purchased mine at Walmart. BTW: I have two Scotties. |

I also use a microfiber, and it does a great job! |

I have a Polti steam cleaner... and amongst other stuff it has an amazing floor brush/mop. Squeaky clean, no germs and no chemicals.
I'd never go back to a normal mop ever again. Or regular housecleaning. Polti was invented by the Italians who have really clean homes, they don't have spring cleaning as they clean so well all the year around. |

Which country are you in? US?
For more information see
http://www.polti-usa.com/steam_machines.htm
Not sure if the range they have there is up to date though as I'm sure the 2400 is available in the US. I did loads of research a couple of years ago and that's the minimum model to get.
I have a 3300 which is the same spec as the 3000 (but I got a really good deal on it through a brilliant website). |

I use a plain old yaht mop, but these ones you are talking about sound better! Are they available in Canada? |

Sorry, don't know Andrea. Worth googling on your local site. I know they definitely have them in the US.
Do shop around though. They are pricy but worth every single penny. |

Ladies,
Is that the microfiber mop you are talking about the same as the MagicBlue Micro-fibre PowerPad mop selling at the shopping channel?
I have seen the demonstration at the Bay and found it magic. BTW the price at the shopping channel is a lot cheaper. |

I use a commercial grade steam vapor cleaner for my hardwood and tile flooring (and for EVERYTHING else actually). |
