Hello
Well I've noticed that there are a lot of fans here...!!
I have fairly normal skin (says my facialist) which gets congested due to hormonal reasons (connected to stress long story). Congestion normally happens in the cheeks (which doesn't go with the whole 'combination skin' thing that the cosmetic companies push but my gyneacologist asked if it happened) My skin sometimes gets very dehydrated (again my facialist) but it's under control (for the summer anyway). I got the Doctor H trial kit years ago but the faffing about with the stuff you have to put in hot water for a steam was too much of a faff for idle old me. And I hated the smell.
If anyone's got similar skin to mine which Dr H products do you use?
Thanks,
Daisy |

I think the one core Dr H product for you would be the Cleansing Cream. You don't have to use the herbal steam concentrate, although it helps if you put a warm facewasher on your face before using the Dr H CC. The Dr H CC is still the absolute best pore declogger for my skin. It also leaves it feeling almost like I don't need moisturiser. If you're looking for a moisturiser from Dr H as well then I think the Quince one would be suitable for you. HTH |

I second the DRH CC I make sure to do OCM to remove my sunblock then wash off with warm water and very little gentle cleanser (I use A'kin or Dessert Essence's Tea tree Facial wash). Then I do DHCC using the roll press and leave it on as a mini mask for 10min, then wash off with luke warm water
It's the only Dr. H product I have and has become a staple |

Seconding Mabsy's advice about the Quince moisturizer. I find that it's perfect for summer. (I need more moisture in the fall/winter, so I use the Rose day cream then.) |
