I've been using BE for a few months now and although I really want to like it, I don't think it's working for me. I have oily skin, prone to outbreaks with lots of blackheads. I've noticed BE seems to add to the shine on my skin and after reading old threads on eds I think it may be due to bismouth. Is that right? In that case I need a bismouth free mmu to help control the shine on my skin? Any suggestions? I was looking into JI but am open to suggestions from any other mmu using shiny skinned gals out there! |

JI also contains bismuth. Try some smaller MMU companies, a lot of them are bismuth free. You can take a look at Everyday Minerals. The samples are free, you just have to pay for shipping. ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Thanks for those suggestions. After doing lots of research (and getting very confused!) I've ordered three foundation samples from barefacedbeauty.co.uk (pure minerals). They told me that if none of the three match my skin tone they'll send me three free of charge. Their products also don't contain bismuth. I'll post a review when I've tested them out. Was just wondering if you can buy Physicians Formula in the UK? |

Hi rachael
Ive been using mineral makeup from barefacedbeauty.co.uk for about a year and a half and i love it! they do have excellent customer service have always recieved fast delivery. I have oily skin too and i pat some pressed powder on top ( just collection 2000 tranclucent pressed powder, nothing fancy ) which stops any shine and leaves a nice finish. i have broken out with other foundations in the past but have never had any problems with this brand. the trick is not to use to much .
Good luck!! ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

try Pure Luxe! Most of their samples are $1 each (imagine the fun I had with the eyeshadows ) It's bismuth free and quite matte. They have a nice finishing powder to go with it called April's Mix and it gives you such a pretty glow without the sweatyness ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |
