After getting sidetracked on the Amy Winehouse vids, I'm amazed at the B & A's of these two women. What a difference They both look fantastic, although I can't say their dress sense has improved |

I was astounded too!! I think the blond women looks 20 years younger. Agree about their fashion sense though! I really think that the future of anti-aging treatments is with fillers. However, at the moment for me at least, they are way too expensive and don't last long enough. |

The blonde one should have sprung for some hair extensions or at very the least, a wig. Her hair looks terrible! |

That was a huge change for those 2 women without surgery. I thought they both looked great afterwards. Thanks for posting the vid, Keliu! |

It wouldn't open for me using Foxfire but it did open and run on Windows Internet Explorer.
I thought the blond sister looked amazing and the idea of filling in the jowl area may be something I would have done. |

Hey, I did get it open when I tried later.... Anyway, wow, that was a lot of filler. You're right it must've costs 1000's of $$$ for what they had done. And sadly it won't last longer than a few more months. Probably three times of all that and they could get a small car.
You can see why Hollywood always looks good as they age.
Thanks Keliu |

That's just a big wow... HUGE difference in their appearance...
I think they look older than early 50's in their before... I would have guessed them closer to 60+.
and probably late 40's early 50's in their after...
Regardless, What a stunning change though... don't you think?
They must have been thrilled... can't imagine how much that costs... |

Yes - I agree with Claudia. It was a nice difference but they were a bit older looking at the start and ended looking in their age group. I think weight has a lot to do with looking older or younger. And how you wear your makeup, clothes, etc. Based on that criteria ,they were not overly youthful in their presentation. |

What a great video! I second that must have cost a pretty penny. I'm hoping they invent cheaper filler that lasts longer and still looks natural. Before Obagi Nu Derm, I was thinking I'd like to get my smile lines filled in a few years, but Obagi has nearly erased the lines. All in all, I think the sisters looked great! |

Too bad, I could not load it at work.
But I heard about fillers and from what I gathered, it lasts maybe a couple of months? There is also what we call fat-micro fillers too using our own fat to fill in the gap on the cheeks and so on. They said it is a much better option than these chemicallly-blended fillers. I think, we all want to look our best

Tell me is it just me or do women with fillers always look unnatural? I don't have anything against fillers and want to try them myself, but am afraid I'd get that unnatural look which is why I have been hesitating. Is it maybe not the filler but something else that makes their face look out of sort? |

Wow, what a difference! They don't look unnatural - I couldn't tell they had fillers if I hadn't watched the video. But if you receive injection from time to time and for a long time, will you look unnatural eventually? |

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I was not referring to the women in the video. I haven't been able to open the video link yet. However I saw like Jennifer Aniston in Marley & Me and Meg Ryan in The Women, and I felt that their faces looked a bit tight and plasticky. I also know someone at work who has juvederm filled in along her nose/mouth lines, and I thought her face looks kinda unnatural, but she's still very gorgeous. |

I have seen a few women, up close too, that had filler in the tear troughs (I think that's what you call it.) It looked fantastic and not fake or pulled at all. I'm usually pretty critical of these things
I asked about doing it, but the technician said I would need 2 vials (I must look really bad, how depressing) so that would be $800 every 3 months or so.........so I didn't do it. If it had been $400 I would have jumped on board for sure.
However, it may last as long as 6 months and I have heard with some fillers, collagen eventually builds up in that area and you don't need as much if any.
Other downside for me was that I have read that if you use an LED device or do facial exercises, it will dissipate faster |

I bet the degree of looking natural has to do with a few variables...
How much a person uses... how well it's placed (that would seem key), and whether or not the results match the rest of their body... I live in an area where plastic surg. seems to be quite common... and I don't think it would be so obvious if faces didn't look 10-15 years younger than really wrinkled/baggy skinned legs (often exposed in our hot summers) It's so weird then... |

Good point, Claudia. I've seen a younger looking face on a woman but she got a turkey neck, so it just seemed out of place. |

The link is now showing other news (I have just downloaded it and no women with face changes
Wanted to see that too...
I've used Juverderm (around my lips). One vial in early January and another one one month after. I love it!!! But don't like the price. It was almost 600 each (including tax).
First time around, I actually could hardly see any result. I learned that one vial is a really small amount, especially if you spread it between several spots.
Before I decided to do it, I studied my face for months, because I was also concerned about having unnatural look. I've seen one girl who scared a sh... out of me!... But curiosity prevailed. I decided not to do it all directly into the lips but spread it evenly almost around with some filler in the lips, and after the second one I love it. No one can say I had it, even people who know me well, but the difference is there, they just cannot pin point what happened. '''' |

You can still view the video if you put the title "10 years younger in 7 days" into the search space.
My sister-in-law and her girlfriend are visiting us over Easter so I showed them both the video. It turned out that the friend had been to that exact same clinic just before she left home! She had her lip lines and marionette folds filled and is very happy with the results - so she's going to continue getting it done. |

Its the dr not the fillers. He took the time to study their face and to put a little here, a little there...he used artistry which not all drs do.I will bet the cost was $5,000.And these fillers do not last unfortunately these fillers and botox will last anywhere from 6 weeks up to a year...depnding on each person's metabolism. If you exercise a lot they may not last as long. Its a very nice temporary effect if you have money to keep spending every few months. |

I thought they looked great in freeze frame but when they spoke, especially the blonde woman looked very stiff and strange. |

That's it! Thanks for saying it for me. I could not figure what was wrong with Jennifer Aniston when I saw her in Marley & Me. One some scenes as she was speaking, she looked really odd to me like you said "stiff and strange." But some other scenes she was fine. Then in some scenes she looked 40 but others, she looked 10 years younger. |

I agree with you that some doctors are more artistic and can give better results! Fillers are definitely very expensive, and if you have to do them every 3-4 months, that seems like throwing away a lot of money for a short term better appearance.
However some EDS members said that if you have fillers injected, they can help your body to produce more collagen on its own in the area. If that's the case, you can eventually stop having fillers, no? |
