I've come across a lot of lip balms which give a shiny finish when applied, but I really prefer more of a less shiny matte finish, while still being moisturizing. Any recommendations? |

I use Neutrogena Instant Lip Remedy, I absolutely it!!!!!
I wouldn't even call it a lip balm, it just moisturizes your lips so they look hydrated and leaves no sticky or shiny film on your lips. I usually put this on alone or use it under glosses. |

I'm finding the Valmont Eye & Lip Contour Cream to be superb for softening, plumping and soothing. It sinks in well and doesn't leave your lips greasy.
It is pricey, though, but you only need a tiny amount so will last for a long time. |

Weleda's Everon balm gives a rather matte finish. |

Blistex, clear advantage I think it is called. I usually use Carmex, it is semi matte and looks natural. |
