I just went through the cupboard and found that I have NINE sunscreens.
I have:
La Mer
LRP Anthelios
LRP kids spray
Cellex-C SPF30 (granted 1oz size)
small tube MD Formulations sunscreen
Shiseido Anessa (silver one)
Sunkiller Daily UV Gel
Sunkiller Super Block Clear
Estee Lauder SPF30 body (ick. this goes tothe bin)
And recently I just gave away the Estee Lauder face one.
Houston, me thinks me has too many sunscreens.... (considering how often I need to use them)
Fess up ladies (and gents), how many different ones do y'all have? |

Good question
I have Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily moisurizer
Cetaphil Daily Moisturizer SPF 15
Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist (best new product out there and so easy to use) |

I have Shiseido SPF 55 Lotion
LRP Anthelios
LRP kids spray
Not that happy with any of them, so just using them up. Still finding that they all make my skin quite shiny looking, even the Shiseido lotion. |

Cetaphil spf 15
Cellular Skin Rx Sunaway spf 30

Let me see......
A really old bottle of half used Jan Marini rotting in a cupboard. I won't touch it.
Two versions of Avene (chemical)
Two versions of Vichy Capital Soleil (using the face one up on my arms and chest - the other is just total rubbish)
One almost finished tube of Skinceuticals ultimate defence (saving for a rainy day - the best for stopping burning in all day exposure)
A hardly started bottle of Clarins UV Plus - used occasionally early evening. Gives me a white cast and doesn't protect my face enough.
A nearly full tube of Clinique from an earlier more ignorant existance.
So that's 8 altogether and I thought I was travelling light |

Hey, sounds like my Estee Lauder. You need a dumping as much as I do!
I am so sad... I am still in the lead. Gawd, I feel like a sunscreen COLLECTOR. |

Don't worry Tiger Tim I'm adding to my collection very soon. I'll let you know when I overtake you.
But...you'll still be far worse than me because I remember reading you don't even use SS on work days so what's it all for?! |

Um... vacation in Australia? that is what I mean about having way too much. Well, if I go to work after 10am I do put it on even for my short walk (on which I am usually hidden under an umbrella anyway when the sun is too strong and hot)
Fortunately they are all pretty small bottles/tubes. I have a week in Oz in September and then another week in December (when I burn just looking out the door ) Although I will have to buy a new super waterproof one for December as i will sweat off the ones I have now.
I wore my La Mer on my face when we were in Zurich (lake cruise) but the top half of my forehead still got burnt as I had sweated off the sunscreen ..
Hmm.. must go see if any are waterproof... |

Australia - good point.
Recently I've been meeting a lot of Australian men through work. I think they're in their fifties and eventually I realise they're only a couple of years older than me. It's shocking |

Lucinda--i know a lot of people use their face sunscreen around their eyes, but i don't like to do that because i am afraid of side effects of the sunscreen leaking into my eyes. plus, i have rather sensitive eyes that can tear up with the wrong products. HTH |

LOL. I know! CK will be sending me sunkiller skintone milk soon, feeding my * spam alert * even more .
the best sunscreen for around the eyes? It would definitely have to be the clarins sun wrinkle control eye contour. it can be a bit drying sometimes so i like to layer it over a regular eyecream. it's totally matte though, so no smeary eye makeup. and best of all, the spf 30 is awesome. |

I only have one actual sunscreen, but many of the products I use (mmu, tinted moisturizer, reg moisturizer, foundation....don't worry I don't use all of them together, just depends which I choose to use that day) contain sunscreen of their own.
The sunscreen I use is Alba Organics Lavender sunscreen, and I really love it. The lavender is a nice bonus because it's a natural insect repellent. It contains other natural extracts too, like chamomile, ginkgo biloba, green tea, etc. |
