I'm still plodding along with my Epidermx routine. Still unsure if it is helping me much now.
Do you ladies who use it find it leaves a film on your skin? It's hard to describe, but no matter how much I try to rinse it off, I still feel like I have a film left over from it.
Also, I look at my skin a few mintues after using it and my forehead pores are oil city! You can actually see the oil seeping out. This can't be right? Or can it? |

Hi Leaky
I never found it left a 'film' as such, but it did seem to leave some moisturising ingredients behind on the skin, but that's good after a procedure like that.

It doesn't sound right at all. I believe most people find it a bit drying actually. Maybe you're reacting badly to one of the ingredients. Do you have sensitive skin?
Do you actually get to the balling up stage because that removes most of the product from your skin anyway? |

Hey Leaky
I don't know if you felt this too, after you rinse your face it is soooooo smooth but it actually is like a greasy film??
(And if you apply the camelia oil, your face feels like an oil spill in the morning! - I don't even get this if I smear my skin with Decleor balms and a neat oil)
Because EPidermx contains mango butter, and you are *rubbing* it in, you are leaving a barrier behind.
I never had the 'balling' effect on my skin when I used pure microdermabrasion crystals + aloe gel unless it was around the lips, but did get it all over with Epidermx - I'm wondering if it is actually the product itself that's balling up |

Yes, that is exactly what it feels like! Soft and smooth, yet with a weird greasy film. It seems to be ok by morning though luckily. A bit gross though to actually see the oil seeping out!
I have bizarre skin. Oily, and lots of clogged pores, yet I think it might be dehydrated in some areas sometimes lol. I'm using Differin cream too so that probably doesn't help. I have noticed an exczema/dry flaky skin patch on my face since using the Epidermx too.
I do get the balling up, and I also wonder if it is just the product. I'm just deciding whether to order the juice beauty green apple peel. Others have said it is great. |
