Hi,

I've recently received a sample of this and have been using it after my IS Clinical Super Serum for the last 2 nights. I love the effect of this gel on my face, although I need to put on moisturizer.

My face is breaking out abit (started before I use this HRC)and it could be due to the recent stress. However, I also suspected that DR HCC is the culprit since I read it somewhere that it contains Calendula, which is an drawing agent. I have been using it for the last few weeks. I am going to continue using DR HCC since I really liked it and fingers crossed that after the "purging" period, it'll get better.

As Jurlique HRC has Calendula as well, together with DR HCC, I am afraid that it will have a full force "drawing" effects on my face and give me full breakout that I never had my whole life.

I do want to purge all the underlying gunks and maintain my face better. Thus, I am very tempted to get not just the HRC, but also PSF O2 Serum and ISC Pro Heal since I now have some pimples to heal and marks to clear.

Appreciate some feedback if you have used any combo of the below items before:
- Dr HCC, ISC Super Serum, HRC
- Dr HCC, PSF O2 Serum, ISC Super Serum, HRC
- Dr HCC, PSF O2 Serum, ISC Pro Heal Serum, HRC

Any other feedback or thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

I am currently using Jurlique Face Wash Cream (I equate that to DHCC since it's basically the same except I find Jurlique less oily, I've used DHCC before as well), PSF O2, Proheal but not HRG. I think if HRG works for you, by all means use it after your Proheal. But I didn't find Proheal helped much with my acne, I use it as my Vit C serum because it's a good texture for my skin and I'd LIKE to think it helps with acne but no noticeable improvement. But it might help in contribution with all my other products. You WILL experience purging, I did and it was SOOO horrible, I am still currently healing but stick by it, the longest it will last is a month, then you gotta wait until it all heals before your skin will look pretty. I have been using Juvenil which has Calendula in it as well so yes, bad bad purging, but I am still using it and no more purging at all for me. I haven't purged in a while.

I find to heal my purging I had to exfoliate a lot, because the products I'm using dry out the acne then it flakes thus in order to get all the dead skin off before it contributes to more acne I exfoliate a lot. Best is GAP for this purpose. I also use Microfoliant in AM so my makeup goes on better - no flakies. O2 is definitely a great product for healing but again I didn't see any noticeable difference is actually getting rid of my acne. But I still use it everyday because it just feel so nice.

So that's my take on those products HTH

I currently use Jurlique Herbal Recovery Mist OP which also has calendula (the Herbal Recovery Gel irritates my skin and I cannot use it) and occasionally use the Jurlique Calendula Cream which has a high concentration of Calendula. I have in the past used the Calendula cream a few times a week and even every night. Personally, I have NEVER experienced any purging from calendula and I have acne prone skin!

I have to agree with sormuimui about the Proheal. I currently use this and feel that it hasn't really helped with my acne but hasn't made it worse either.

Theresa, How is the recovery mist? I got some samples of the recovery gel the other day and the SA thought that the mist would be better.

Goofygal, I don't know about calendula. But Dr. H cleansing creme is well worth sticking with. Good-luck!

Agent OO-CAT, I have been using the Mist on and off for almost two years. I have tried many samples of the Gel and think that the texture of the Gel is nicer and I like the feel of my skin more after applying the Gel than after applying the Mist. But the Gel is irritating for me and I am not the biggest fan of the scent. IMO it smells nice at first but I get tired of the smell after several hours! I had a theory that the Mist was helping with my acne but am not so sure about that. When the bottle I am using now runs out I will stop using it and see if my acne gets worse. Unless I find that the Mist really was helping with my acne, I probably will not continue using it. HTH

Thanks for the feedback with regards to Herbal Recovery Gel/Mist. I guess I'll stick with DR HCC and finish my HRG sample before I decide. I'll hold back on the Pro heal. I am however interested in PSF O2 Serum. I know I am deviating from this thread byt any thoughts to this pdt?

I couldn't use the PSF O2 on my whole face but found if I sprayed some in my palm and dipped a q-tip in it I could spot treat any breakouts.

With the Dr. H cleansing cream I've found that even the most long lived white heads have started to totally clear up. I'm pretty impressed with the DHCC and it's the one thing I know I have to have.
