I am about to place an order with EDS, but before I do I have a few questions about some PSF products. Is this a good line in general? I haven't tried any of their products. (yet )
-Super hydrating eye treatment-anyone tried this? I'm trying to combat those fine lines spreading rapidly under my eyes... Under eye area is dehydrated, and I am prone to milia. Would this suit me? If not - any other PSF eye cream recommendations?
-Emergen-C Repair Serum (12% vit C). Anyone using this? I have decided to incorporate a vit c product in my skincare routine; would this be a good one to start with? How does this compare to other vit c serums? Should I start with 12%, and use that for a while before purchasing the 20% serum?
-HA Serum- any reviews?
-Herbal Sunscreen Lotion SPF30. Is this a good sunscreen lotion? What's the texture like? I have combo, but yet dehydrated skin-will this suit me?
-MicroCrystal Resurfacing Cream - is this comparable to the old version of Epidermx? What are your experiences?
Lots of questions, I know..
TIA! |

Hi Helene
I like PSF, but I only use the HA serum out of your list. I've seen positive comments on all of the others except for the Sunscreen which people seem a bit iffy about.

Helene,
HA serum is really nice, and I think it's good for everyone, so you cannot get wrong with this.
I tried Emergen-C Repair Serum (12% vit C) and didn't like the texture; it left the film on my skin. It's better to order a sample of this on PSFskincare.com because the opinions about it are different unless you are sure you like glycerine-based products.
Super hydrating eye treatment does exactly what it says. I found it a little bit heavy to use in the morning, but good for night-time.

I have been using the PSF 12% vit C for about 6 weeks now - It's the first vit C serum I've used, so I can't give you a comparison, but it hasn't irritated my skin, and I think it has improved the texture significantly. Also, it hasn't started to darken yet, which is a common complaint among vitamin c users. As for the texture, I don't mind it, I just wait a bit and then apply sunscreen overtop anyway. For the price, I think it is a good starter serum, even if you order something different the next time.
I haven't tried any of the other products you are asking about, but there are loads of reviews if you do a search for PSF

HA serum -- the best!!! love it!!! Also great price (one of the cheapest on the market)
MicroCrystal -- WOW -- I used it just 3 times, and so far I am totally in love. I might even right a review soon! Must buy def.!
Serum C -- broke me out
SH Eye Treatment - nice for night... to heavy for day use... I won't repurchase...

I've used the sunscreen. I have combo skin and I found it stayed a little shiny on me. I definitely didn't need to use both this sunscreen and a moisturizer on the mornings I used it. I haven't used it on a daily consistent basis, so I'm unsure if it would make me break out or not. I felt it protected me well, but unless I am outside all day, I stick to my Dermalogica Sheer Moisture Tint SPF15.
I'm not sure if the texture is the same on the 20% Vit C versus the 12%, but I did have the 20% and found that one was a little too oily feeling for my skin. I ended up going with the ISC Super Serum which which seems to work better for me (feels a little more water based). |

The Vit C 12% gave me a bad breakout. Took 2 weeks to recover. However, I love the O2 serum, green tea cleanser and pumpkin peel. You can easily find reviews on this forum. |

I'm using the HA SR at night and it's nice. It leaves my skin feeling plump. I think that I would repurchase. |

I use the HA serum, ALA serum, Cranberry eye-lift, Green tea cleanser and 20% C serum. I've even repurchased the cleanser and C serum a few times already! Will definitely repurchase the HA serum and possibly the ALA... though still not quite sure about the eye-lift |

I agree with Moonstarr. I think this made me shiny...my husband had a terrible skin reaction to it...but it does cover well. It did not make me break out or anything, but once my hubby had such a terrible reaction and I discovered Solbar I stopped using it...I use this on my tattoos.
Edited for grammar. |

Thank you all for your good advise!
I placed an order for the HA Serum and the R&R Toning Mist; the others I will sample from PSF before taking the plunge, I think...
As for a C-Serum, I ordered the Cellular Skin RX C Serum, since there seems to be some ppl who has had negative experiences with PSF C Serum in terms of it being oily and "glycerine-y". But, as always; different products suit different ppl, so what do we know?
Also ordered the AlphaDerma sample pack to try out. Now I "just" have to be patient waiting for my package to arrive....
I'll review these later on; thanks again! |

just received my order today and i've just put the 12% vit c serum on my face..it doesn't feel too glyceriny but yes it leaves some sort of a film-like texture, which doesn't bother me
will update since i've only tried it now..hope it won't break me out |

i ordered a sample of the 12% about a week ago and have been using it for about 4 days now. The serum does take awhile to sink in and yes it does leave a slight film on the skin but other than that i like that it has a thin consistency rather than a big glumpy feel when i pump it out. It's too soon to tell the results ill get but if anything im using it for maintenance. |

Milodomi and Purpleturtle;
Have you tried/used the Cellular Skin RX C-Serum also? I was wondering how the two compares in terms of texture, stability etc. |

I tried the Vit C Serum and it was ok for my skin (wasn't sensitive to it). But I found it a bit pricey when I could use others much less expensive. |

really like the -Emergen-C Repair Serum (12% vit C). I have rather dry-ish skin and after using brow tox I follow with the vit c then use a sunscreen and no other moisturiser . I really love that the serum has HA so it moisturises too! will go to the 20 % c serum after I finish this one (which lasts for ages)

The hydrating eye treatment is very good but a little too rich for me usually. Still, I really do like this and I swear that I saw my eyelashes improve when I was using this! |

Perhaps this eye cream will be better suited for winter time? My main goal is to counteract my fine lines and some crepiness, but I'm also prone to milia so if the cream is too rich I don't know whether I dare to use it... |

I use quite a few of the products and just added the 1% Retinol to my PM#2 routine. They send samples (so nice) w/each order and I received the eye cream - WOW, it is outstanding.
I only use a very small amount but it soothes my eyes like nothing else. My routine is fairly complex with layering but this goes on last both morning and night because it does such a nice job smoothing the skin, moisturizing and tightening up the tiny lines.
Personally, I think it is eons better than Cellcosmet (tried 2 sample sizes of that and didn't notice much except moisturization; not bad but not worth the money for me). So, when it gets close to running out, I will place yet another PSF order! |
