Hello! Haven't posted here in ages but I do read the posts all the time. Ordered the 4% DMAE from skincarecentral based on the info on this forum and WOW - great stuff! Only been a couple of days but this is just the best quality DMAE I've ever tried. Doesn't ball up or pill or make my skin look drier like others I've tried and my eyes (my 46 year old eyes, upper and lower) look so nice all day, subtle tightening/lifting. I want to buy this by the gallon, and the lady at skincare central (Natalia?) seems very nice, glad to give her my business. Thanks for the great recommendation, ladies! |

Hi Crazyfor....
I see you've had trouble in the past with DMAE is this one better?
I just got a sample of the IN version from Dianayvonne and for me it's the same result again (I've tried others before) - crepey undereyes!! Which others did you try before? I'd be so happy if this worked.
TIA Molly |

No, no crepey undereyes with this one! I've had that before too (with Reviva DMAE and another, I think skinactives DMAE and also with some Vit C serums, so I know how it can just ruin the look for the day !). I'm very dry undereyes so I really am careful not to use anything to accentuate this (my concealers have to be very moisturizing!). I have learned that any serum with HA in must be topped with moisturizer/eyecream immediately, for me anyway. This DMAE has HA in it as do most. I've used a different eye cream and moisturizer each day that I've used this DMAE and have had a nice smooth result each time, no parched look! |

Hi CrazyForClooney - I like this product too! And like you, I discovered (only recently) the importance of applying moisture on top. Before I did, I experienced some under-eye dryness. And even though I use fairly oily SS, I still sometimes need a little extra something to prevent a parched look.
I had the same thought as you -- buying by the gallon so I could bathe in it! But I don't want to mislead anyone -- the effect is subtle and so far it's mainly just working on my eyes and neck. |

Yes, subtle effect (but hey I'll take it ) and also mostly in eye area too. Supposed to have a cumulative effect, so its definitely in my daily line-up! According to the ladies on the MUA board, DMAE is supposed to help with dark circles, so I'll be looking for any improvements in that area too. And I really like the consistency of this product, gel but not sticky or heavy and enough of a slip that I can control it and not waste any. |

Thanks Crazyforclooney
I do liberally dose after the IN with HA and emu. It's my daily ritual but some products can make you crepey even with that under the eyes if you've got that tendency.
Did anyone try the IN for comparison???
I actually wanted to try the Skincentral version after all the recent talk, but had to pick up some CPs so thought I'd give the DY version a shot. |
