Hello ladies
I am going to my reunion (I will not tell you how many years) in a couple of weeks and although I don't wear much make up besides touch ups now, I want to wear makeup to my reunion. I am looking for a "pressed" powder that you can find at a drugstore. My skin is oily, so I don't want it to look like cake, and although I will probably only use it one night, I don't want clogged pores or makeup that sits in my pores. Any suggestions? Very Happy

I am very oily. I wear MMU and find that most MMU finishing powders just don't last long enough for me.

Probably the cheapest is NYC transculent = under $5.00 cdn. You can find this at SDM, Zellers, etc.

I prefer Maybelline Pure. It is in a blueish compact. With both of these I suggest NOT using the puff that comes with. I prefer to use a powder brush.

Another suggestion is blotting papers. I use cheapie Clean and Clean from J & J. It lifts off the oiliness but still leaves makeup on. These are under $10.00 per package.

I've been keeping Physicians Formula mineral pressed transulcent powder in my purse; I like it quite a bit. It comes in a neat little compact that flips up to reveal a brush and a mirror. It also doesn't cake.

I also like Physicians Formula products. I have the mineral pressed. Most of the time I wear a tinted moisturizer but like PF for touch ups. You can't beat the price. Smile
