My blackhead on the nose doesn't seem to go away even after I rubbed it with Baby Oil. Anyone knows any trick to get rid of it?

I just started using mdskincare alpha beta daily face peel...I read on Dr. Baumann's site that its good for clearing blackheads and then using a retinoid keeps them from coming back.

So I started using the peel in the AM and am using Retin A micro at night...I'll let you know in a couple of days...I've had these blackheads for 17 years...they come out...but they come back the next day. The only other thing that worked for me while I did it was 6 weekly microderm abrasions followed by monthly sessions and professional peels...but it got too expensive to keep up...but my skin was very clear!! I like shoes and purses too much...so I had to pick and the shoes and purses won!!! Laughing

HAHA, yeah....hmm, no blackheads or no purses or shoes. I don't know, I think I would choose no purses and fancy shoes Wink

Chemical peels won't get rid of blackheads, I thought getting a laser resurfacing peel would, they came back within a matter of days, my sking was burned off but the blackheads grew back faster than the skin Crying or Very sad

Has anyone heard of blackheads spreading due to damaged skin?

I remember a Clinique lady telling me this that when you first start to get blackheads the skin cells in the area are damaged and then the damage spreads to other areas because the skin cells are stretched like an elastic band...something like that?
