| I'm looking for something that contains alpha lipoic acid, DMAE, & glycolic & retinoic acids. The only one that comes close is the Perricone line but the reviews that I've read are only so-so. Any suggestions? Thank you! |

I've been using Source Naturals Skin Eternal Serum, a health store brand. This has all of the ingredients you mentioned except it has Vit A Palmitate instead of retinol or retinoic acid. (Is this the same thing?)Ester C among other good things are in it.
I began using this when I heard it was superior to Perricone but alot cheaper. Hard to understand why this would be better but I find it to be a good product though I haven't tried the Perricone.

The Skin Eternal appears to have similar ingredients as what I'm looking for. You say that you're happy with it so I may give it a try ....I've also been watching the Alpha Derma discussions here for the past couple of days...that product certainly sounds too good to be true. I wonder why there is such a deep (50%)discount on their website - is it old stock or is the sale a gimmick? Also, the site says that they have 3 decades of skin care experience (is that adding up everyone in the company?). They sure don't have alot to show for it because they list just 2 or 3 items to sell.
Anyway, thank you for the Souce Natural tip. I'm going to look further into it right now. |
