I'm curious if anyone has tried this line yet? I received a sample today and before I tried it I thought I'd ask for opinions.

Hi
I have tried it briefly.
I tried their skin correcting cream and their SPF 30 sunscreen. But...since I love to learn things the hard way... I learned that yes, it's still true that I can't use niacinamide. That is the active ingredient and it freaks out my skin (I have sensitive rosacea skin).
For other people I'd say go for it, as both products have a nice texture and feel. The skin correcting cream was nicely hydrating (more so than Remergent's Barrier Repair cream in my opinion), and the sunscreen had a nice mostly-matte finish. |

The medi-spa in my building sells it and they (nurse and esthetician) were very impressed with the science behind these. I got the sample pack and tried the products. I am somewhat sensitive and have mild rosacea. I can use the skin correcting cream every other day and they think I could build up to every day. No problem with the sunscreen and like this. Since I have other stuff though I haven't been using this regularly. I did like the cream and sunscreen. The scrub is really nice - very gentle. I use this once or twice a week. |

I have been looking at this brand for a while. Does anyone know where I can find complete ingredient lists? How about samples? It seems like the manufacturer is really trying to control distribution of this line and it is hard to find places online that sell this. Does anyone know of an online seller that is authorized to sell this line?
Marie1120 would you say that you did not like this enough to use it regularly and that you prefer some of your other stuff or did you really like the Nia but are just trying other stuff? |

I received samples, and I really do like the sunscreen and the repair lotion, But my skin really has a pretty healthy barrier, so I can't say how effective it is for me.
The scrub is okay but a bit harsher then I like to use on my face.
But I like the feel of the lotion products. And the pH and science involved are nice.
If the sunscreen were not so pricy I would rebuy it, But I think there are many decent sunscreens at 1/3 the cost, though not as elegant maybe.
It leaves a really nice matte velvet finish, skin feels terrific. |

If anyone is interested in trying the first one, you should order now. Thats where I recived my samples. |

Tangal, I'm looking for a new mineral sunscreen that offers greater factor than spf 15. [currently using Murad, only thing I don't like about it is the shiny face]
If I could find an sun screen that doesn't irritate my skin AND doesn't clog pores AND doesn't break the budget AND doesn't leave a face shiny AND leaves a matte finish I'd be in heaven! I really liked Clarins UV Plus but at $40.00 for one ounce, I'm afraid I wouldn't use enough sunblock to be effective |

The NIA24 is a true matt finish, that’s why I love it. Maybe a tiny sheen, but very very little if any. No white cast on the skin either. Drys to a soft smooth velvet finish. Its about $55 a tube though. I am not sure on the ozs in a full sized tube however.
Ingrediants:
Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide —9.45%, Zinc Oxide —3.6%. Inactive Ingredients: Cydomethicone, Water (Aqua, Eau), Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Myristyl Nicotinate, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Stearic Acid, Polyglyceryl-3 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, PEG-12 Dimethi cone, Tocophetyl Acetate, Myristica Fragrans (Nutmeg) Kernel Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Methicone, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, Cetyl Alcohol, PEG-1 Dimethicone, Bisabolol, Aluminum Hy droxide, Disodium EDTA, 1,5,5,9.Tetramethyl-13-Oxatricyclotridecane, Maltol, Pentadecalactone. Dimethiconol, Polysilicone-il, Methyldihyckojasmonate, Phenoxyethanol, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, lsoeugenol, limonene, Linalool.
I have not had pimple or pore clogs with it, But I have only used it for a week, and I normally can use most sunscreens without issue. I do have acne prone oil prone skin, which is why I like the matt screens – which are hard to find!
15 SPF is generally fine for day to day use, unless you are outdoors a lot, in which case 30 spf is recommended. |

I think I mentioned this in another post but I'll say it here again. I did end up trying it. I decided to try my sample on my chest. I had close to two weeks worth of product and was very impressed. I had not been as careful with my chest as Id been with my face regarding sunscreen and had noticed some wrinkles and discoloration. My chest is no very smooth and even colored. I'm a Pilates trainer and had shown several clients my chest prior to starting and when I finished the product five of my clients had purchased based on my results. I love the repair cream and scrub but was eh on the sunscreen. The esthetician told me that the rep told her that you didn't need to use both the sunscreen and the cream at the same time as both had the same percent of the actives.

Tangal, Bluesheart thanks for your feedback! And wow Tangal, thanks for providing all the alternatives! I'll have to start tracking down the ingredient lists... I'm truly tempted by NI24 but the only downside is the price.
To answer one of your questions, yes mineral sunblock is the only way to go for me. The more I read about the way chemical screens sink into your skin rather than deflect the harmful rays, their possible contribution to free radicals and negative interaction with mineral makeup the less inclined I am to put that stuff on my face!
I'm looking for something stronger than SPF 15 because I was diagnosed with non-melanoma skin cancer around my eyes a couple months ago - So hard to find good facial sunblock for use oily skinned acne proned girls
thanks again for your help, ladies |

Here is a good physical sunblock that has SPF 50 and PPD 20: It's SVR tinted cream.
You can buy it at beautycenter.uk or skincarecentral.biz |

I also use SVR 50B for the past 10 months, and love it. No irritation, no breakups, no clogged pores, etc.
Around the eyes I use the one from DY (Pure titanium dioxide).

I use it on a medium to dark tanned caucasion skin (Self tanner) and it blends in excellently. It does not leave a white cast on me.
I am normally skin type 2, very white with some faint warm tones. With my "tan" I am medium to dark skin tone, with a bronze slightly golden cast.
The sample would be a good place to start to see if it blends into your skintones well. |

Yes, which one, and what method do you use to apply it? Any tips you can offer us? I'm naturally very pale and would love to have some color. TIA! |

Any updates about this product?
I've received samples of the cream & sunscreen that's I've been using the last 2 days. I don't really know much about the ingredient but whatever it is, it's 'active'..I feel my skin tingling slightly, but I do like the way both products feel. The cream isn't oily, in fact I wake up matte the next morning; I may need a moisturizer over it. The sunblock is wonderful & I can apply it around my eyes as well..
Anyone know the science behind it? |
