hi, i am 19 yrs old. i have not got body acne until now. it's mostly on my chest area. not really on my back. i think its probably from sweating. is there a good product to use for body acne. i have been using an astringent. or should i just use a bar of soap? |

Hi there,
Couple of options:
Get Clinique's Bar Soap in Extra Strength (for oily skin). It's a facial soap, but you can use it with a loofah or body scrub to lather it up for your body. It really does the trick and the refill soap is only $8 (it's a HUGE bar of soap). You'll have to buy the soap dish the first time.
You can also try Murad body wash but I haven't tried that at all.
Good luck!

Try a body wash and mosituriser with a high percentage of glycolic acid. And, as Gucci wrote, tea tree oil lotions could really help you too. I have the Australian Body Care Antiseptic Hand & Body lotion, which is pretty good. It has 5% Eucalyptus oil in it though, so I only use it before bed sometimes. Don't want the koalas to come running - this smells rather strong!

Hey Dpot,
I think MDF body products are great for that, they have some glycolic acid and work wonders. If you check out EDS they have Body Gel, Scrub and Clearing Complex. I've only tried the gel for my arms and it really worked, I always used to have little pimples on the back of my upper arms. I found a combination of glycolic acid and a good solid scrub usually is pretty great. Also this new Body Clearing Complex looks awesome, I want to try that out.
Hope that helps

I would second that! I have the MDF Face and Body Scrub (with glycolic acid in it). I would NOT use this on my face (though I guess it would be fine for people with very oily skin), but it is a great body scrub.
