Using a TCA peel, used it two weeks ago, and the peel came off like a week ago. Im using the weakest version and there is absolutly no change to the skin, at least not visable. Im gonna try it again in like a week. Any hints on what i should do after the peel? I was using savalon, as its the closest i have to an anti bacterial. Or hints in general on how i can increase its effectiveness other than increasing the strengh? |

You should wipe your skin down with alcohol before the peel, and you can increase the strength by doing layers. I believe some people have gone up four layers (extreme), I don't think more than that is recommended. Copper peptides have been shown to speed wound healing, they also of course help with skin remodeling. I would definitely use copper peptides after heavy pealing like TCA. HTH |

Interloper, you might want to do a search for Scalawaggirl's threads on TCA Cross method - very informative, plus she includes pictures. She's pretty much the resident expert on TCA peels, so you should read as many of her posts as possible, you'll find a lot of help there. |
