Has anyone here tried or thought about constructing their own blue or red (or other) skin rejunenation lamps/equipment?
I am looking at some of the products around and it seems like some of this stuff can be duplicated with the right LED bulbs. And eye-protection, of course. |

Hi,
I just now noticed your message. My husband is making me one at this moment. Actually he is making me two separate heads - one with the blue LED's and one with the red. The blue one will be at 420nm's for my acne which I have been suffering with for almost 30 years. The red one will have 3 different wavelength's (which is what the NASA study used). My husband has spent about 3 month's (in his spare time) working on it - it's more complicated than just slapping some LED's onto a circuit board. I just couldn't see spending $1000 or more for something that I know can be made for a fraction of that amount. I will let you know how well they work when he is finished.
