Hey all...I am in my late twenties and I am starting to get little lines by my eyes. Can anyone suggest a good drugstore brand eye cream that works in minimizing the lines and also prevent them from appearing. Thanks! |

What lines under your eyes??? I just saw your picture on another thread and your skin looks perfect! Plus you're only 21! |

They seem to me like dehydration lines. Drinking lots of water and using a moisturizing eye cream should help. |

andaman_gypsy I used to think they are dehydration lines. However, they do disappear right after I had applied eye cream and could last several hours, then they go out again. Every afternoon they are just there as the pic shows.
Does this mean my eye cream is not moisturizing enough? Oh means that I should turn around to find an anti-line eye cream ? |

Your eye cream probably isn't moisturizing enough. How about reapplying it during the day or swapping to a more moisturizing one? I doubht if they're really lines from aging (wish shouldn't be the case anyway since you're so young still) they wouldn't miraculously disappear after putting on an eye cream. Now that's unless you've a HUGE secret eye cream none of us knows off ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

andaman_gypsy Errr What you said sounds very meaningful. What I use now is LRP's VC eye cream, maybe it is too light to last for a long time. Will go to find a new one then.
And is there any one you would recommend for me? I would be very appreciated~~ ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

I really like Sisley Sisleya Eye and Lip Contour Cream, but it's more suitable for mature skin. It's very rich and moisturizing, but takes quite a while to sink in. You can use it day and night. My second favorite is Babor Sensational Eyes Eye Cream. It's light, but very moisturizing and absorbs quickly. I feel it does the job just as well as Sisley eye cream does. Plus it's MUCH cheaper. You can get Babor on EDS. I also think La Prairie Eye Contour Cream is very good at moisturizing, but there's nothing special to it besides that. And for the same price or even cheaper, I've found something which works just as well. You can browse through the forum. There are so many reviews and recommendations on eye creams.
From my experience, I find vit c products rather drying esp. vit c serum. Maybe that's why your eye cream isn't very moisturizing?
Hope that helps ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

You can always ask for a sample of Babor's eye cream next time you place an order with EDS. It would be a shame if you bought it just to realize you didn't like it. |

Valmont L Elixir Des Glaciers eye cream gets amazingly good reviews on here, but I honestly don't think it's necessary at your age. It's extremely expensive though if you can afford it it won't hurt to try it. |

I think I may not talk about the same product as you do. The one you said is true too expensive But I mean another one, that is 1oz and could use on lips perhaps. So maybe it's not so expensive when it comes to the price per ml. |

Ah ha...now I know which one you're talking about. I don't know anything about the product though. I haven't tried any Valmont products myself. I think I'll treat myself to Valmont's LEDG eye cream and masks when I turn 25 this June ![Smile](images/smiles/smile.gif) |

Some lines on your face are normal and without them how would you blink or move. Start taking care of your skin with sunscreen, stay out of the sun, and realize the only line free face is an airbrushed on on a magazine cover. |

I agree with Rufus on using sunscreen and staying out of the sun. You should use sunscreen on your eye area if your eyes aren't too sensitive. Some members on EDS use eye cream with SPF. Some use a seperate sunscreen for eye area. I just use my face sunscreen on my eye area, but then again my eye aren't THAT sensitive. |
