Hi
As I cannot afford Jane Marnini Eyelash Intervention (I think thats what its called) does anybody know how I can use something natural at home to thicken my eyelashes.
Can someone also tell me if I can use Rose hip oil directly on a scar above my upper lip (old scar I fell off my bike and went face first into the concrete : ) It seems to be getting more noticeable and widening I was wondering whether this is a good thing or not. |

Google lashes and castor oil and then eyelashes and castor oil, and then maybe eyelash singular. Then do a search on that here. Search Ardell, a very cheap eyelash groth product, and check out the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. Talika is way more affordable than JN or Revita- . You can read up on the Ardell and Talika ingredients, the actives supposedly being lecithin, castor oil, and some seed or herb i don't remember. Mavala is another affpordable thing, but I consistently read here that it does not perform as well as Talika or Ardell ...nor of course JN or RV.
Someone here started a thread on putting castort oil into a tube and putting it on olike mascara -- you can do a search on that as well. |

You could combine lecithin, castor oil, horsetail herb tincture (non-alcohol version). I've had good luck w/ that. |

Where did you get the horsetail from? How long did it take you, and is the lectin in a powder I have lectin granules in my cupboard is it the same thing? |

Chocolat, how did you apply it -- as eyeliner or as mascara? Did it sting or irritate you? |

I used Carekate's eyelash gloss recipe (this is spelled out somewhere in the DIY forum) and added 2 eyedroppers full of liquid horsetail herb tincture that I heated to get the alcohol dissipated. It didn't sting upon application (with a fingertip right next to the lash line), but I didn't add any preservative to it so it smelled 'off' rather quickly, and I think that's what irritated my eyes. I also think the molasses fed the eyelash mites and made them multiply (ICK, I know). I don't make that formula any more, but it did give my eyelashes their initial boost of growth.
Oh, I got the horsetail herb tincture from Whole Foods, I think. |
