i have been using this since november and have finally come to an opinion...

its worse than BE! i was using BE for half a year fairly satisfied then i decided to switch to youngblood cause we have it at work..... and what a disappointment! it gives a matt finish and the coverage i would say is not as good as BE. at least BE can cover my acne scars, but youngblood doesnt.. just masks it and turns red marks into a ashy gray/purple. and the color selection is not very good.. the color i got is not that great of a match for my skin (watchout asian girls theres no yellow undertone unless you are darker than nc30). good thing about it is it doesnt give a shine off so quickly like BE does, but you definatly need to touch up every 3 hours or so. it looks good on from a few feet away but if you get up close like a foot away it looks horrible.. settles into lines, chunky finish, does not blend or melt into skin well.. when it melts it gets slick like liquid foundation, doesnt melt and 'become one' with your skin like BE would. lol.
i also have to exfoliate almost every other day due to the huge amount of clogged pores i get (i didnt believe too seriously in the bismuth thing at first but now i do!)
it doesnt make me break out more, but i get cysts here and there and little ricey clogged pores on my chin and forehead that i can squeeze or pop out >.<

gonna try to finish off and waiting to try alima next... although youngblood liquid foundation still interests me...

That's interesting. I'm Asian and Youngblood was my HG for years. IMHO FAR better than BE or JI. I stopped YB when I moved to Illuminare's liquid mineral foundation and now I use that or J.Lynne (matte finish)

Good post, smqueen. I never tried Youngblood because even when people liked it, it seemed hard to find. Since then I've seen a few sites that sell it somewhat regularly. I'm very happy with JI, so not interested in Youngblood anymore for myself.

Makeup Artists Choice use to sell Youngblood but they replaced it because YB upped their prices. I have tried YB mineral foundation and liked the coverage. But like other mineral foundations I started to look freaky after a few hours specially in my oily t-zone.
