What do you do with them?
while most of the time i am delighted to get and use sample products from EDS, there are times i get some which i dont want nor need. For example firming lifting products. I am only 24 and my skin is quite firm. I dont think i need such products for mature skin to use on mine as i dont have such problems. so i think if i use such products it will actually end me causing to get those problems earliar then necessary.
how do you stop unwanted samples in the first place?. I tried putting my age in the comments section thinking i wudnt be sent nay samples catered towards mature skin but that dint work.
I think such unwanted not needed samples would have gone to better use to another user who would have benefited them more than me And i dont feel good throwing away the samples and wasting them either.
so any tips and hints on what do you do with yours? Do members here trade things with each other? |

How do you get free samples?
Well maybe if you ever have yard sales you can put them out? I'm new so I don't know much. |

I just give mine away to friends and family. If you really wanna swap them, try makeupalley. There's a well-established swap system there. HTH! |

I save mine up, and any I don't end up using I send to various women's shelters. The women who stay at these shelters often show up without a full arsenal of beauty goods, so anything you send will definitely go to good use. Makeup alley actually has a whole list of potential places to send the goods if you don't know of anywhere local. I have always send my stuff to the YWCA in Mass, and they have always very graciously written me thank you notes to let me know they received the stuff and that it was being put to good use. As an aside, I do the same thing with any unused toiletries that I bring home from hotels. |

I also donate unused samples and hotel toiletries to our local women's shelter. At work we have a "toiletry" drive twice a year to collect these goodies and donate the whole lot. Last spring we collected two large boxfuls of goodies to donate. |

I try many of them on myself and give away the rest to friends and family. I don't tend to save them as I've heard from a doctor friend that the most fresh skin care is best for our skin. And it is good to know we can swap or donate them too! |
