Janson Beckett BeautiFULL Lips Lip Plumper - Peppermint

i got this at EDS during my lip plumping project, along with the sothys lip repair, and fusion beauty's lipfusion XL. what really caught my eye was the argiline. i believe the alpha derma eye cream that i tried has this ingredient, and i was excited to try it on my lips.

during my own personal lip plumper project i had already tried the lipfusion XL for 4 days, then the lipfusion reg/daytime wear for 4 days. while i got wonderful results with XL in which my lips puffed out, during my lipfusion reg 4 day use, my lips deflated. this is when i began my JB beautiFULL lips.

this is my second day using BLips. i've been using it as a nighttime treatment and all during the day. it comes in a cute pink tube with a red lip logo. the design i a bit unique... and you have to start it carefully. you must turn it upside down, with the tip facing down. take the clear cap off, and you'll notice that it has a white bristled tip. then from the bottom end you have to keep turning clockwise so that it pushes the product out. for the first use, it takes quite a few turns to get the product out. i thought i had broken it or got a lemon tube.

once a bit of product is protruding past the white bristle brushes, you know you're set to go! the Blip product is a white cream. it comes out from the inside middle of the bristles. you then just brush the product onto your lips.

i did not notice a scent. *sorry i've had this cold for 2 weeks now and my olfactory is not working at 100%* the Blips is a cream, not a gloss. it looks thick but goes on thin. it is more like a lotion and you have to brush it on properly and rub the lips together. it has a bit of shine, enough to hydrate. at first application it has a 'peppermint' type of tingling on the lips... yes! its actually feels like peppermint. i can't smell it which means it is lightly scented.

results: it is a good hydrator. it stays on the lips while feeling very light. the look is very natural and comfortable. this product does not give the lips the color of barbie doll sweet pink, but it seems to neutralize the dark dull red lips and turns the color into an even-toned natural red. the lip pumping effects are small and lasts for a severak hours. and for me, the few hours life span is not an issue since in that time i do remove any product from my lips to snack or drink water. if you're looking for a huge pump this product is not for you. if you're looking for a more natural colour of lips (eleminating dark dull lips), a small amount of pumping, and filling of the lip lines and lips, then this is a good product.

special note: i have noticed a special feature to this product. at nighttime for the overnight treatment, and sometimes during the day... i take this BLips and extend the application to go beyond the lip border. when i do this, after 10-20 i notice that the surrounding area of my lips are full and protrude. i find that this product pumps the peripheral area much more than the actual lips. the effect of protruding lips gives my face a more younger look. i noticed when i was younger, not only were my lips fuller but mylips protruded more from my face.

i'll will continue using this product for a few more days, and then go on to test the toofaced lip injection extreme.

i have 2 tubes of this JB Beautiful lips, and while i love the effects to the periphery of my lips, i am not content with its lip pumping effects. i will definitely be using this lip pumper around my lips for a more dramatic effect, on special occasions. and this special effect that it has on the surrounding area is intriguing me more. i'm going to experiment with this product to see what else it can do.

update.

i've been using the JB BeautifullLips plumper for 4 days straight. using it both as an evening treatment and all during the day.

this plumper product is not a high gloss but looks mor of a natural looking gloss to the lips. it is very hydrating, and cling and stays on the lips.

if you have dull darker looking lip colour due to age, and want something to freshen up your natural colour, this is a nice product. it is a semi white/clear product that becomes invisible upon contact. this product lighten natural colour making your lips a brighten red.

on the third day i noticed that the plumper caught up and plumped the lips as promised. this gives a fuller pout.. definitely bigger smackers.

however, the key effective that i loved about this plumper was that it plumped the outter rim of my lips the best. just beyond the lip line, my mouth area looked fuller and youthful (juicy)... and it even define my lip line giving it a more rigid border. *am i making sense? Mad

meaning, it did a good job plumping my lips but a wonderful job defining my lips. my lips look much more defined and stand out.

this product i will definitely be using in combination with my 1st pick lip plumper... to give me the FULL and best results.

I did not like this product. I truly felt that it had no "plumping" effect with my lips. It was a good moisturizer but that's about it - sorry to say. Also, I found that the tube did not last very long. Perhaps I used too much in order to get that lip plumping boost. This product was very disappointing to me.

My favorite lip plumper so far is too faced lip injection. I have repurchased that product about 3 or 4 times.

JB didn't have the best plumping effect but the effect on my lip definition is amazing. the tube is small compared to others, it is 2ml.

my favorite so far is lipfusion XL. i think a fab lip plumper combined with this JB lip definer will be the key for me.
