I agree, 3x a day is too much. I wouldnt use a mask more then 2-3 week. But some times I do spot treat with masks at bed time when I'm having a breakout. |

YIKES I think you will trade one problem for another if you apply any mask 3x's a day!!! |

Yes, 3 times is way too much. When it comes to your skin, sometimes less is more. |

I read in Dr. Perricone's first book to just wash your face twice a day.
Three times a day may distrupt the acid mantel on your skin, and may also trigger it to produce more oil. |

I would say why not? I have. You don't have to apply the mask all over your face, but only on your acne spots. Your skin may peel and you may have that dry look in that area, but you basically help speed up the process. I prefer to use retinal prescription to deal with my acne and use a acne mask for those troubled spots.
Also, please be aware that your skin will appear to be more sensitive. If this happens, you should stop 3 times a day and if needed slowly build up to it if needed. But, I still think retinal prescription would be better. |

Acne is not very pleasant. Best way is to eat right, do not poke your skin, drink lots of water to remove toxins... also see a dermatologist and he can prescribe medication for those...

I've not masked three times a day, like morning, noon and afternoon, but I have used three different masks in a day and its the best combination! I use any mask that opens the pores and removes blackheads, then use a peeling mask or clay mask to pull the blackheads out. Then if I've used a clay mask, I follow it up with a moisturising mask. So I've used three masks altogether. I do this combination, maybe once or twice a week and it really has helped reduce my blackheads but its very time consuming, and can take an hour. |

I've never used 3 masks in one day but I quite often use two, but one is a exfoliation/peeling mask follwoed by a moisturizing mask. I guess it depends on what type of masks you are using. For instance I wouldn't use the pumkin peel followed by the aspirin mask or green apple peel. |
