these are the link of the products i want to review( sorry to i don't know how to post phote in the forum)
http://www.philosophy.com/web/store/prod_microdelivery-peel____24005_23503
http://www.olay.com/boutique/regenerist/products/re1007
-----------------------------------------------------------
i have used both of these products! i like these two peels, they make my skin sooth, brightened, feel refreshed! but i prefer the Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit!
because the olay one is cheaper than the philosophy, and their ingredients and the smell are almost the same! it is orange smell! i like it!
that is their ingredients:
----------------------------------------------------
philosophy the microdelivery peel :
product ingredients:
bicarbonate vitamin c crystals: peg-6, sodium bicarbonate, oleth-20, glyceryl stearate se, silica, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) oil, beta carotene, isopropylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate
rapid activation gel: water (aqua), lactic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, linoleamidopropyl pg-dimonium chloride phosphate, polyquaternium 10, propylene glycol, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, propylparaben
--------------------------------------------------------
Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit:
Ingredients:
Microdermabrasion Treatment with Derma-Crystals (Net wt 2.2oz/64g): Peg-8, Sodium Bicarbonate, Silica Silylate, Polysorbate 20, Niacinamide, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbic Acid, Fragrance, Yellow 5, Red 40
Peel Activator Serum (2fl ox/59mL): Water, Sodium Lactate, Lactic Acid, Butylene Glycol, DMDM Hydantoin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Disodium EDTA
(Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. )
------------------------------------------------
how to use( both of them are the same)
step 1( the lower bottle)
apply one teaspoon amount of the vitamin c crystals to clean, dry skin. once crystals are applied, they should appear almost like a mask. gently massage in a circular motion over entire face, avoiding the eye area, for 45 seconds to 1 minute. do not scrub, only massage.
tip: use less pressure for sensitive skin
step 2( the higher bottle)
place a generous teaspoon amount of activator in the palm of your hand. massage gel onto fingertips and apply on top of vitamin c crystals. as activator is applied, an overall warming sensation will occur and a white foam will appear indicating your vitamin c is now active. leave foam on for 2-3 minutes to infuse vitamin c into the skin. rinse thoroughly.
tip: you can massage foam for extra exfoliating benefits or allow it to sit if your skin is more sensitive.
i have checked the reviews from MUA:
Philosophy->Resurface Kit- Vitamin C Microdelivery Peel Treatments 4.4 217 83%
Olay->Regenerist Microdermabrasion and Peel Kit Scrubs 4.2 208 77%
many people in MUA contrast these two products, if the ingredients, the function and the feeling of using are almost the same, why shall we choose the cheaper?
BTW: i think it may be little irritative for sensitive skin! |

Thanks for this review. I've seen the Olay peel at Wal-mart and thought about trying it, because I love the Olay Regenerist serum. I have used the serum around my eyes for a few years and so far no wrinkles (cross my fingers). Just wondering where you bought the Philosophy peel? I've never seen it before. |

You can get Philosophy at QVC, Sephora, philosophy.com, Macy's. I've used the Philsophy peel before; it's pretty good. I think it's ingredients look a bit better than the Olay one. |

I also really like the Olay one. I haven't tried Philosophy and it may be better, but for an inexpensive drug store purchase I think the Olay one delivers a lot of bang for the buck - my skin feels great after I use it. |

The Philosophy peel leaves my skin incredibly smooth and bright. I have not found a product that compares! I tried the Olay version in hopes that I could save money, but it did not have the same effect.
I buy my Philosophy products from QVC. |
