Anyone else taking these? Or would you? I've only been taking them about 2 days now..I was wondering if there was anyone else taking them.Jan Marini recommends taking them morning or lunchtime...I can see why; I took them late last night & woke up to slightly puffy lips & really puffy eyes.I usually don't take supplements from skincare lines..I don't know if I should be concerned. Here are the ingredients:
Marine Cartilage Polysaccharides, Alpha Lipoic Acid, CoEnzyme Q10, Proanthocyanidins, Vitamin C, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Vitamin E, Evening Primrose Oil, Carotenoids Complex, Retinol (Vitamin A), Selenium, Silica Dioxide, Zinc, Glucosamine, Vitamin B (Thiamine), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin), Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide), Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid), Folic Acid, Biotin
Actually, my bottle lists more than that: of interest? is Biocell collagen: hydrolyzed collagen type II 1200, 200 mg HA and chondroitin Sulfate 400 mg.
All I know is, my lips look lusher...but after 3 doses?...I must be seeing things....I'm also not too crazy about the green-tinged pee..but such is the price for poofy lips.
I don't know why I'm nervous about taking these on a regular basis..I put a lot of other questionable things in my body daily!
Comment: It ain't cheap! |

How interesting. I have not invested in these to have in my office. I can't wait to hear all of your results.
Lucy, what have been your long term effects.
Thanks,
Patty |

I am just finishing up my third month of JM C-Estamins and I still like them very much. I did not ever have problems with puffy eyes but I always take them with my lunch (I can't take vitamins on an empty stomach). I know that I look and feel better after taking them for this long.
You do see the poofy lips very quickly. I have actually also been using topical HA (Cellex-C Hydra-5 B-Complex) on my lips and they are looking really good. I got LipFusion XL last week just to see and I am not sure that LipFusion XL is any better than my lips with the JM vitamins and plain ol' HA.
I also take liquid silica for my hair, and have recently started a powdered MSM/blue-green algae supplement (YUK, tastes terrible, it better work!). But I am very pleased with the JM and will continue to order them. I think once you add up how much it would cost to buy all the supplements that are in JM separately that the US$75-80 cost is not unfair. Always buy from EDS with your 20% discount, then they are only about US$64. |

i caved in and bought these but only took them for a few days before i had to stop because of my upcoming surgery. then i forgot -- oops. will start taking them today (so i'll be a few days behind). they *are* expensive, but having them all in a packet makes it easier for me and have to believe it's good quality (my BF makes fun of me when i return from the states with bottles of stuff and i end up not taking them daily out of embarassment). i know i must be deficient in something as my lashes on they eye of the injured arm have gone completely again after surgery so i'm just taking the lot and hope everything starts healing up.
regarding your pouffy lips -- totally HA. i don't think it's your imagination at all. lucky you, though, that it didn't need to repair other bits of you first.
thank you ever so much for the warning about taking it early! i so don't need eyes that are any puffier than they already are. anyways, i only got a months worth but will continue with these if i see improvements.

This morning my lips definitely feel 'bouncy' & 'plushy'..I don't think the difference is visible..but I'll take it. Funny thing about lips, you don't notice (too busy paying attention to other areas) but they do flatten out. These supplements certainly have helped with that & I've only taken then 4 times.
Looks like they're going on my permanent 'reorder' list...another one. Thanks goodness EDS has very competitive prices (I know, I've checked around) and the discount ![Very Happy](images/smiles/biggrin.gif) |

I have been on them for a month,I do think they help BUT I do so much other stuff like hair vitamins, brewers yeast and lecithin, protein shakes,I continue to take other supplements as well. But I did notice a difference in my skin when I added JM. I already have huge lips..they do seem less "wrinkled" however. I cant explain it but the skin overall has improved I dont know for sure if its JM but now I am hooked and cant stop taking them. I was enticed into taking their vitamins because I know her eyelash serum really works and also her biocell collagen is the highest dose of anyone. |

I take the cestamins inthe morning on an empty stomach but my eyes are still puffy. I first took them for my psoriasis and it did help. I'm just concerned about the puffy eyes |
