Charlatans.
"Handmade in the USA from Natural Earth elements" appears to be their excuse.
Handmade = DIY
Natural Earth elements = raw materials that are cheap, and may be effective
"Refined specifically to one's personal skin chemistry. We at Evolution Surf want to teach you how to live in your sun kissed skin from the South Pacific Islands to the Rocky Mountains. This product is made especially for the constantly changing elements of your skin for individuals living the leisure, travel and active lifestyle. Results from these handmade organic skincare products will be noticed immediately."
If they manage to teach me anything, it will be how on earth to take DIY potions to the point where you stratospherically rob consumers blind in broad daylight.

That is extremely outrageous IMO! I don't think I can ever afford those. I rather stick with Naturderm's skin care. |

Hydrating Eye Creme 100 ml $550
Ingredients: Purified Water, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Aloe Vera Gel, Palmaria Palmata (Sea Parsley/Red Seaweed) Extract, Spirulina Plantensis Extract, Blue Algae Extract, Bisbolol Liposomes, Acuminata Extract Liposomes, Gatuline RC (Fagus Sylvatica Extract), Seamollient, Gatuline (Juglans Regia Extract), Isopropyl Palmitate, Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Steareth-2, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Steareth-20[/b][/i], Milk Lipid, Tocopheryl Acetate(Vitamin E Acetate), Gluthathione, Superoxidase Dismutatase, Co-Q10 Enzyme, Yeast Beta Glucan, Grapeseed Extract, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Tetrasodium.
Excuse me, but can anyone see anything "organic" or "natural" about the bold highlighted items in their ingredients list?
The top 4 ingredients (and therefore holding the greatest concentration in the cream) are the cheapest: Water, petrolatum, mineral oil, aloe vera gel - together, these probably constitute approximately 70% of the product. Pennies in the dollar as they say - and the asking price is $550.
I say "asking" because I wonder whether there are any takers. But then you never know - you know the saying about people with more money than sense. |

Jeez, I clicked on that link and noticed how much they are charging for the same shell jewelry they sell to the tourists here - 400 USD for a shell necklace?? I am in the wrong business - I am going to mix up some DIY skincare and go buy some $10 shell necklaces downtown if people will actually pay this much $$ for the stuff. |

Incredible to me that anyone can figure out a way to justify paying that kind of price. |
