I received one of SaffronRouge's emails introducing it's newest product line: JO Woods Organics. I went to the webpage and saw that the line is super expensive. A simple bar of Jo Woods Soap is $24. Yes, $24! A bottle of body lotion is $110.
What am I missing? Is that lotion 10 times better than my Weleda lotion or any other good lotion?
Maybe it's the new "bling, bling" of skincare. I mean $24 for a soap bar? I don't get it.  |

I'd be expecting that cream to melt away my cellulite and give me a soft glowing look on my body for that money.

| Is it like the Jo Malone of skin care? Lay people like us really cannot discern the magical qualities of a $150 jar of body cream that smells like something from the supermarket? |

I got that email as well and pretty much ignored it. It did get me to go Saffron's site to check it out ince again to see what's changed, but their prices seem to be going higher and higher. The Pimavera Exfoliating cleanser is now over $50 CAD when it used to be only about $37 CAD just 2 years ago! That's quite the exaggerated inflation rate! I think they are just increasing their prices for some products because they are the only company that sells them in Canada. I am so glad I found my Dr H at EDS. The prices here are reasonable and the incentives and free gifts they provide just can't be beat!  |

Yes she is the wife of Ronnie Wood and he obviously doesn't use her products, have you seen him? 
I'm assuming you're paying for the packaging, which is fancy glass bottles, looks very similar to Jo Malone to me. |
