I have ardell on my lashes with no mascara...I stopped using JM 6 weeks ago and started with revitlash and then started using ardell 3 weeks ago. Anyways...i'm loosing way too many lashes in one eye....("think" it was time for those really long lashes to shed but they did all in a period of a few weeks at one time) I want to still use revitalash for a little longer to see if they will all come back. Do you think my lashes look sparse? I do! I want to apply ardell to the roots during the day as well as the lashes.....does anyone think this is ok. My brows have really filled in with using the Ardell alone! So I'm thinking the Ardell is working well! And my brows are a lot darker.

Your lashes dont look sparse to me, I would lay off everything for a while and let them rest if you are worried about it. Smothering them all the time cant be a good thing for new hair growth.
Ardell worked really well for me on my eyebrows but, beware of using it on the lashes, it burns like hell fire if you get it in your eye! |

Did ardell work on your lashes? I can get it on the roots of my lashes without getting it in the eye...practice! Yeah it doesn burn like crazy!
I feel if I stop using the products I will have crappier lashes....If you think they look good and not sparse then maybe I'm just looking at them way too much! I could give it more time since a lot just fell out and give them a chance to regrow...if they get even worse in the next few weeks then yes I will stop! |

I didnt use it on my lashes long enough to comment, seeing as it did work for my EB's I assume it would.
I would just be a bit leary of ALWAYS using a growth stimulant on my eyelashes, it cant be good in the long run. Too much money for a semi-permanent result, with a product that *might* not be 100% safe. But, thats just me.
Good Luck! |

Hmmmm it's hard to say. Your lashes are unusually long, yet not very thick. I'm wondering if the fact that they don't look thick is just a product of their length.
I tint my eyelashes with 1000 hours, though not as often as I'd like too (one of those things I never seem to have time for), and I use Ardell. I purchased the much raved about Lucia, but could never master its application. The Ardell has been a good thing for my eyelashes - especially my bottom lashes.
But, if you think the stuff you're using is causing you problems, why don't you just lay off using anything for at least a little while and see how it goes. That's what I would do. |

Yeah they are thick but not many of them....and they look thin because of the length. Maybe laying off the revitlash and just using ardell for now for condition and see how that goes. |

Thats what I would do, keep in mind it can take several months to regrow hair. I would also look into your removal of eye makeup to make sure you are not rubbing them off when cleansing.
I do agree with katee though, your lashes are very long so maybe you are just thinking they look sparse due to the length.
IMO For now I would use Ardell and invest in a good thickening mascara and a eyelash curler to make them look thicker. (Wiggling the mascara wand at the roots and lightly brushing thru the lenght is the best way to thicken long lashes without getting that spidery effect.)
Be Patient! |

I've been using Revitalash for approximately 5 weeks and I've not noticed any lash loss. Prior to the RL I used the diy recipe for CK's lash conditioner/gloss. I felt it made my lashes very healthy. Maybe you're using too many lash products.

I started using RL on Jan 4. No lash loss yet. My lashes are actually very full now especially on the left side. They're getting long, but not like Ooh la la. However for someone like me who was born with super short lashes AND I even ruined them further after eyelash extensions, they're satisfying. I like the fact that I am getting more lashes, and they're darker. I don't even use a curler or a mascara any more, but when I do, they look really long. About 1/25, I started taking MSM, and I also started using Ardell and SAS KGF for brows on my lashes about 2 weeks ago, too. |

I don't think your lashes look sparse at all. They look fine. They're nice and long. |

I think your lashes look great - and really long. I thought mine were ok with mascara but yours are way nicer than mine without! Bummer for me great for you
I'm automatically thinking that your loss of lashes is due to natural causes - i.e., they do have a life span and will fall out... But if you feel that unnaturaly many
lashes are comeing out I ditto vonstella and katee. |

Hi Ruth...thanks for the compliment....what i *think* is happening is that yes they were ready to fall out...cause the one's that fell out were really long and have been attached to the follicle for a long time (about 3-4 months) I just get freaked out when it happened cause a lot fell out and were on the same growth cycle i guess...now i have to wait until they grow back and it will take a few months or so...which is a long time! I think if they all fell out and i was left with 5 or 6 lashes then maybe i would worry more....they just look sparse cause they are so long! I will keep what I'm doing and see what happens...mascara helps a ton! Dawn |
