I decided to start a new thread in hopes that those not watching the other will see this one. If the mods feel the 2 should be combined, that's cool.
I wanted to thank each and every one of you for the well wishes, gifts, cards, e-cards & phone calls I have been receiving. Overwhelmed, touched and happy don't begin to describe my feelings.
The surgery was successful, 2 repairs were made. A 2nd surgery is pending.
I received top-notch care from the hospital staff, my surgeon and of course my militant nurse - the box of chocolates are definitely helping my spirits!
Again, thank you all. You've made this event alot easier to tolerate.
Big hugs, Candy |

Honesty is it's own reward, or, was that action?

Glad to hear things are starting off on the right foot (er, wrist!). What a wonderful feeling it must be for people who don't really "know" you to feel so strongly about you .
Now hurry up and get back to work (protecting us Chicagoans and Candessencites ) - I'm waiting to put in another order of pdts |

Yea, Candy, so good to "see" you and glad to hear that things went a-okay! Should I write a poem about it? No, I'll spare you so that you can concentrate on healing! I am near the end of the fantabulicious Triple C and must get my hands on more, but I'll be patient whilst you recouperate and order when you are ready.
Sending lots of good thoughts your way.

Wow, glad your surgery went well, and you're on the road to recovery. Please try to get a lot of rest, and don't use your hands too much. |

So glad it went well. How long did it take you to type all that out one handed? I am just interested because it would take DH about 5 hours to write all that with his 1 finger press & search method.
Anyway I guess the meds have worn off now. I always find that the sadddest bit.
You know I'm joshing ya Candy. Big hugs & kisses. |

What she said!
Relax, recuperate...and keep on letting Militant Nurse wait on you hand and foot (tiara on head and chocolate in hand, of course!)!
Hugs!
