Hi everyone for those interested i thought i should share my experience with u all!!!
I receieved my first ever godiva parcel in april.......i was really excited..........i didnt see any results in 7 days but by the end of may my skin was noticably fairer!!!!!!!!!
i live in london so theres no real fear of spending alot of time in the sun!!! anyway i spent the most of may in sunny Florida (which was fantastic ) i soon got tanned!! even though i took all the precausions.....but with all the shops, theme parks, beaches... how long can u wear a hat??????????/
ive been back two weeks or so now and havent seen really any change...................and it cant be because of the tan....before i used the creams the first time i had just come back from jamaica....so again i was tanned anyway.......
also the first soap i used was the sample soap..................then whilst in florida i used the purchased godiva..which didnt seemto have worked as well......anyway what are your experiences???? ![Question](images/smiles/question.gif) |

These creams are so expensive, and packed in a tiny thing. I was dissapointed to see that my skin looked just as same as before the cream.

hi cbeb.............................. well i started using this stuff....(the cream....soap and fruit acid complex...............i can actually say it did whiten my skin......as well as brighten it, but my skin was definately a shade or two lighter by the end of the month. i was away for most of may and got a serious tan!!!! well its been around two weeks since ive been back....................the creams and and the soap have got rid of the tan.im indian skin....so a tan just makes my skin abit dull!!! its done the trick!!!!
******************A Tip******************* if you use the soap on your body....dont wash it off staright away...leave for about 30 seconds - a couple on minutes then once its properly washed of get a flannel ad rub slightle....i foung that the skin just rolled off leaveng a much brighter whiter skin underneath!!!
Dont forget touse moisturiser!! |

i've been using godiva licorice cream for about 10 days for hyperpigmented areas due to previous acne. it appears the areas have lightened slightly, although i don't know if this is just wishful thinking or a certain reality. all too often when i start using a new product, the excitement/anticipation alone is enough to encourage a perceived positive change when there might not really be one at all. then a few months down the road i end up thinking the product is useless... the godiva results are also skewed by concurrent use of Retin A micro, which is known to have a slight lightening effect. i'll give it at least 3 months before i decide whether to repurchase. |

just a caution for anyone wanting to order these products from i-godiva, even tho the shipping was free i still had to pay $31 for duties and also GST and PST, so it ended up costing a lot more than it should have ![Sad](images/smiles/sad.gif) |

i live in the US so it was different for me. 20 dollar flat shipping rate, nothing else added. ordered sunday, received on thursday. customer service was good. accidentally clicked the "process order" button twice. it charged twice to my credit card, but i notified them and they refunded me the extra charge very promptly. |

thought i'd share: been using godiva whitening cream for a month and a half or so. i'll reiterate, no problems with shipping time from Godiva... Have noticed a slight whitening effect. It does work, but don't expect anything mind-boggling. I am asian, mix between a light chinese mother and dark thai father. I use godiva only once at night, applying a thin layer after exfoliation/toning. I have noticed it has lighted my forehead also. I'll share again after another month and a half. personally, i'd say it's worth using. if you are naturally darker, however, do not expect to obtain the light skin color of, say, the stereotypical female asian soap opera star. |

For every country - it really depends. I live in USA, and have ordered from Godiva twice and so far haven't been charged what they call Custom Duty...
This is also written in their website
Quote: |
OTHER CHARGES
Customs duty, value added tax or sales tax that may be imposed by the country of destination are not included in the product price. |
Perhaps Canadian Customs have different policy when it comes to Custom Duties. |

Or you can ask when is there next product available, cause sometimes their out of stock to, but you can contact them. That's the only store I know selling asian whitening product. |

Eskinol brand is a local Philippine product for many, many years. I used to buy their toner/astringent due to my pimples. Haven't used them for a long long time anymore... but they should be pretty good product though. |
