I turned 47 this year and my anti-aging skin care is non-existent. I want to include Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4(Matrixyl) into my routine,along with Retin-A and Vit C. From what I have read there have been some independent studies on Matrixyl and it is an effective peptide, not Matrixyl 3000. Please correct me if i am wrong.
I just started using Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculting serum since it includes Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 but it stings & my skin turns red. I don't consider my skin to be sensitive but it seems to irritate my skin. I searched for an alternate product ( I prefer a serum ) with Matrixyl but I all I find is Matrixyl 3000.
Could you please recommend a product with Matrixyl ? |

| You might need to build up slowly. Once your skin settles down, try using one time a day just 2 or 3 times a week. Hopefully that works but maybe that isn't the right ingredient for your skin. Niacinamide is supposed to be great but I seem to have a problem with it. |

Thank you for responding Marie1120.That thought never crossed my mind. I just assumed something else in the serum is irritating my skin.
Niacinamide is the fourth ingredient in their list while Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 is the tenth.I wonder if its the Niacinamide that is causing the irritation  |
