In aus we have vogueforums where people sell stuff used. Ive sold stuff there. Its good when you get something back, even if it isnt much and its great if you've been wanting to try something and can get your hands on it cheap
Actually it would be good if EDS could start a For Sale section too. |

It's hard to control the quality of the unlike skin care that people to sell out in website. You have to consider whether it's used, expiry date, truth of content. |

Also on vogue people have had problems with not getting items etc but ive never had a problem. So its probably wouldnt be good on EDS, could start all kinds of problems. |

I've done either of two things:
1. Drop it all off at the nearest women's shelter (when I used to work for an agency that repped mu artists, we unloaded tons of high-quality mu and haircare to all the nyc shelters and some hospitals). I am sure they would take gently used products as well.
2. When swapping on MUA (Make Up Alley), add some of it in as extra goodies. I've given a sovage lip plumper, estee lauder tom ford azuree lipsticks, and an entire set of kerastase (all unused) along with a swap-requested bronzer. It made the other person's day, no maybe, their week, and it made me feel so good!
note to selves--when I'm in the swapping way, I'm really generous, watch out for me!

I usually try to give them away, I won't sell something I have used. But to be honest the majority of my very expensive moisturisers are now very luxurious hand or neck creams instead! |

I guess it was the only thing I could think of, especially with my $200+ La Prairie cream which I didn't want to waste.

I agree completely. If one of my friends doesn't want to try them my rejects end up being used on my legs - which are pretty well moisturised, I must say . |

It's really a good idea to apply the unlike cream on other part of body skin like foot and hand but be careful of neck area where the part also quite sensitive (to me it is!). |

I, too, try to find another use for it.

I use some of the products that are not suitable to me on my DH...hehe He doesn't mind it or maybe he just doesn't have a clue
I also do try to use facial products on other areas, neck, chest, and legs. Sometimes some products are not even good enough for my legs |

I usually pass to my cousins/aunts/friends to have a try and see if it suits them... Easiest and most hassle-free method I feel |

I swap my gathering-dust skincare items on MUA as long as they're not expired yet. Or I give stuff to my mother or sister (but even they can't use it up fast enough for me to keep loading them up!) |

For skincare, I make my boyfriend try it because he refuses to buy any skincare stuff. So I can use this and if it works he is more convinced of the value of skincare. Or I give it to my mom, who doesn't really care about skincare either...somehow I am the only one (too girly for my own good or so they say) |

I also usually give most of my stuff to my mother as well, especially when the products are too rich for my skin & she never complains about this either! |
