Anyone had it? Seriously has oneone had it / considered it? I had until I read they test each batch on mice and didn't want a frozen face.
Next thought was this thing but I'd not heard much about it.

I could of course stop smiling but life would be to dull. While I don't think I could go under the knife smallish procedures like this I think are fine - more arresting decay than major reconstruction.
What do yo think ladies are you prepared to go under the needle or the knife to stay as young on the outside as you feel in the inside? |

Eve, I did botox twice. The injections did not hurt at all. The results were spectacular (I did forehead only). EXCEPT, the first time it wore off in six weeks and for two I had a really, really bad continuous headache. Yep, I went back for more. (Vanity thy name is woman!) This time it lasted about 4 months -but again, suffered through two weeks of serious headaches immediately post-injection. That was enough for me, thank you very much! I did have the smooth, smooth forehead and that was great. If you don't get the headaches (and have some major extra cash), I think it works and it looks good. Now, I use "topical botox". Not as spectacular result (it can't paralyze your muscles that cause wrinkles) but it does relax them enough to make my crow's feet and frown lines very, very faint. There are many products out there with the acetyl hexapeptide in them (the relaxing agent) but I recommend Relax-A-Line fromwww.CellularSkinRx.com. It works, has not extra weird preservatives, etc. in it, and only costs $36. As for other cosmetic procedures - I'm all for doing whatever works. I think I'm about ten years away from maybe some filler injections for nasolabial folds and maybe even a minor upper eye or forehead lift....Gravity is ETERNAL!!! Damn Newton! |

thanks for sharing maybe once or twice a year gives your body time to fully rid itself of the toxin before getting another dose, really it's only round the eyes that are starting to age the rest of me is wrinkle free, I guess that oil has it's benefits |

excellent idea! You mean to fight gravity, right? Turn it on its head? Janusian thinking? Okay, I've got to quit drinking that second cup of coffee. |

I just came back from a trade show where we had a booth marketing a facelift system containing a masque and a serum, both containing Argireline, the trademark name by Centerchem for acetyl hexapeptide-3
What we have been seeing is that the masque with Argireline will remove frown lines on the forehead immediately for most people. Naturally, this effect would wear off if you stopped using the masque, but people doing a 90 day program of using the masque 2 to 3 times per week begin to see cumulative results. How much the masque lightens these lines also depends on the deepness of the lines, but most people see significant results.
The other part of the system is the Serum with a 10% concentration of Argireline. The serum is used in the morning after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer and at night too. Both the masque and serum contain Aloe Barbadensis gel, grapeseed extract, green tea extract, and anti-oxidant vitamins. The serum also contains hyaluronic acid and allantoin, along with the 10% Argireline.
We have been doing a 1/2 masque demo so that people can see the contrast better. As an example, one salon owner who has tried Botox, Collagen, Restylane, was elated with his results. After the 1/2 masque, the forehead lines were invisible on the side done and he went home and did the other side and reported that he is now smooth all across the forehead. He also saw some significant improvement in the nasolabial folds.
What I find is that as I have progressed through the 90 day program, lines on my upper lip and under the eyes are definitely lightening. I had tried everything and had very little success in those areas. I also saw that the eye area looked more "open" and lifted. Diminished that "sad" look that comes when the upper lid begins to droop down on the lid.
I also did some testing to see how long the effects of the masque would last by doing a 1/2 face lift. The first time, the lift appearance lasted 3 days. I tested again after having used the serum with Argireline for about a month and 1/2 and the effect of the masque lasted 5 days this time. Since you do the masque 2 to 3 times per week for the first 90 days, you maintain the lift. After that, your maintenance program is 1 to 2 times a week for the masque. Naturally, a person could also use the masque for special occasions for a special lifted look.
Based on the experiences I've had, I can say that products with Argireline definitely live up to the claims made from the clinical trial results.

yikes yes. I've just been reading it.
Where on earth did you get a 50% mixture from?
I've been using a 5% set from Avon (one pad you wipe on leave for 5mins then another pad to neutralise) and that seems to be working ok for me. |

Rx is the short-hand for "prescription" here in the US. So, I hope your face is healing up nicely....I still feel so badly for you. Which pharmacy/doc's office did you hold up at fingerpoint to get your hands on 50%glycolic acid!? |
