I need help choosing a shade of Jane Iredale foundation. Warm Silk is a bit too light, and I have used Warm Sienna which a too dark. Is there a shade just a bit darker than Warm Silk? BTW, I love this foundation. |

Hi Brenda,
You can use the foundation chart http://members.lycos.co.uk/chiaxx/foundation.html to see if you can match any other brands that you might be using (or have used in the past) to a specific color in Jane Iredale.

Hi Mabsy & other girls
After reading comments about JI foundation, I really want to try it out immediately.
I am a Chinese girl which medium skin tone, Could some girls here give me advice on shades?
I may either use Satin or Warm Silk, may I know which color is more light? Or which color is pink base?

I can't help you much there, sorry. I have the liquid JI in Bisque and my mum has the liquid JI in Warm Silk. I wouldn't say either are a pink based shade. Also, both myself and my mum have a very fair complexion. I think Satin is darker than Warm Silk.

Hi, I have fair olive tone and I use JL in Bisque . I find that warm silk is abit too dark for me. Have tried La Donna mineral and the Creme tone suit my skin tone where Umbra is abit too dak for me.
Hope the above help. |

Hi Brenda: I'm of the porcelin persuasion with quite a few freckles in between , coming from italian mother and irish father. so finding a foundation is so stressful that is until i found JI I'm using Cool Sand minerals and its great. I only have to use a little bit b/c it goes a long long way. I also use JI under eye concealer, which is a nice compliment to the minerals and is soooo creamy.
