This seems like a great way to apply more pigmented blushes, and it's way more affordable than its expensive MAC sisters. I'm tempted! |

I haven't tried this particular brush, but I couldn't live without my fiber optic brush for applying blush. It's my must have brush. Before I discovered this little gem of a tool I shyed away from using blush b/c I'd end up looking like a clown. With these fiber optic brushes I'm able to build up the color & it always looks so natural. |

Hm, sorry for the potential hijack, but what does "fiber optic" mean in a brush? I've always felt that things like blush felt way too obvious - maybe I was using the wrong kind of brush all along? |

Ginnielizz, I copied the explanation below from essentialbeautysupplies. I think you'll them. They give a sheerer, more natural result than the traditional brushes

It's a carefully crafted makeup brush that have white synthetic feather-like hairs that extend past where the normal black goat hairs end. And what does this do? Those soft "fiber optic" hairs allow you to apply blush, powders & shimmers with a very light touch! |

Aha, thanks Cadia! Guess I could've done that myself. That does sound really nice, especially since I hate that heavy look - I might need to get me a fiber-optic powder brush! |

Thanks so much for this information, Liz.. You're such a rich resource of good information! I just ordered the brush and hope it accomplishes what they say it will do--give a SHEER blush coating, that can be built upon. I have VERY fair skin, and it seems no matter what blush I use or what brush I use for application, there's always too much color on my skin. Hopefully this brush will solve that problem! |
