The PSF product info is specific about the O2 killing anaerobic bacteria on contact and that is the bacteria that kill acne. I know, too, that the O2 serum is supposed to have decent penetration so I'm wondering if anyone is using it to kill these bacteria before they get to the surface as an acne pimple. |

Hi, Fizzy
I didn't purchase the O2 Rescue Serum for acne and really never gave it a thought. But, now that you mention it, I haven't had any breakouts at all since I started using it. It's been about 2 months. I adore this stuff. It makes my skin feel very soft and nice--just more alive.

I do not use O2 serum just for acne. I do think it helps treat and prevent breakouts (in combination with all the other products I use). You can always order a sample from their website I think. |

How about the improvment for your skin?
I am quite interesting in to order it also.
But I would like to know the result and side effect (If have). |

I gave up using this as part of my skincare routine because it didn't help one bit with my hormonal cystic type acne, nor did i see any other improvements in my skin. To avoid wasting it since it's expensive for what you get, i trasferred it into a mister to set my makeup. |

I tried this last fall and noticed that my skin was just better (less red and irritated, not as peely, not as many breakouts). It also helped my existing breakouts heal faster and reduced the redness tremendously. The reason I haven't ordered it again is that I started using the Zenbiotics foundation pack plus their O2 spray. I seem to get the same results from their O2 spray as I did with PSF. However the PSF serum seems to pack a stronger punch than the Zenbiotic. I want to give ZB an honest to goodness try so I might eventually order the PSF O2 serum again someday and use it as a spot treatment. |

I have used a couple of bottles of the PSF and I could imagine with continual use that it could help prevent breakouts. I certainly found that when I used it that it helped prevent any new breakouts apart from cystic type acne. It's a shame it's so expensive because my skin felt cleaner and I had a reduction in redness whilst using it. I have also tried the Zenbiotic one and like others have said it doesn't seem quite as potent as the PSF O2 Serum, but it's an effective alternative for a great price. |

I don't use mine to control breakouts but I do find that since I started using this, I don't get the odd blemish that I used to.
I don't mind about the price as overall the PSF range is such good value that the lower price of other things cancel out the O2. Given their overall good value, I am taking it on trust that the reason the O2 is pricy is because it has to be due to ingredient quality. |

Hi, I find it does help prevent acne breakouts. I have adult acne-prone skin and find that since using this it has really improved. Since using a good routine of PSF my skin seems way more calmed down and can tolerate more. The price doesn't bother me. I figure it is higher because of the quality and based on the price of their other products I feel it is justified since this is a more of a specialized product. I am sure it costs more for them to make do to the quality. I did not feel that the Zenbiotic was as effective and does not justify buying it just because it is cheaper. I originally didn't purchase this for the breakouts but have found it to be a great product for prevention and treatment and was pleasantly surprised, in addition it leaves my skin very soft as someone else mentioned.

I got my bottle of O2 serum about 8 months ago. Initially it really seemed to reduce redness and zap any potential pimples before they fully developed. I don't remember why I stopped using it but I've still got about 1/2" in the bottle and when I've tried using it recently, it doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe my skin's changed or it's lost effectiveness over time even though it was stored in a dark cool drawer. Maybe I'll order another bottle and see what happens. |

Overall, I think the PSF 02 serum is better as a treatment rather than a moisturizer or for hydration. However, though, back when I was used this there were a few nights here and there where I would wash my face and just spray this on at night with nothing else (except I would still use my Tazorac every other night). It surprisingly helped my face stay hydrated and I didn't have to apply other products. I found that after about three nights I would end up needing an additional moisturizer though. This was before the dry, cold winter was in full swing so I don't know if it would suffice now alone. Maybe I will give it a try again when it warms up and becomes more humid. It sure was nice to only have to apply this and nothing else. If you have drier skin you would definitely need an additional moisture. |
