I just wanted to ask... I am probably going to order the facemaster (it had both positive and negative reviews - but with money back guarantee its worth i try).
Anyway my question is... i read that with facial exercises once you stop - the skin and muscles will return to their original state - would that be the same with these electric gadgets such as the facemaster??? I ask just because if it does work - but produces results I dont like - I want to make sure I dont screw up my face...
THANKS |

mb935, I've never used a machine like the Facemaster, but am really wanting to give something like it a try. Maybe if you e-mail Facemaster's customer service, they could help you with your question? I imagine that it would be like any sort of muscle toning exercise; meaning if you stop, the muscles would go back to their original condition. These products are supposed to assist with lifting and toning, so I'm thinking that any results at all would be positive. Good luck! |

Hi, I have the facemaster (old version) and I have to admit to being lazy about using it (well, I currently live in a tiny apartment so not having space to sit and use it is my excuse )
the effects are cumulative, but yes, if you stop they will go away. |

I started with the COnnie Stevens Time Machine, liked it alot. Got the Facemater, {1st generation, but it works the same as the new version} hate it to no end! It's in a drawer somewhere... Now I have the Dermal Tone, love it.. But am lemming the NuFace BAD!
Any of these will give cumulative results, but if you stop, you lose them.. |

I suggest you read the money back guarantee carefully and print a copy of it. I learned that a money back guarantees may cover the product only if you return it unused.
I expected that I had 30 days to try it and send it back if I didn't like it and when I went back to find what I'd read it wasn't there anymore. |

About the facemaster, I bought it when I read Perricone's latest book. He mentions bringing out his own electrical stimulation glove for sell from his website. He claimed the effects of toning with DMAE applied afterward were really good. Of course his glove would be wayyyyy overpriced, and he doesn't have it on his website yet anyway. So I thought of SS' facemaster.
I was really skeptical, but I really love it so far. My "cheekbones" definitely look plumper and it is really amazing at plumping the lips. I don't think a static probed elecrical stimulation device such as Nuface can plump lips because the probes are set a fixed distance apart and you can't squeeze the lips like you can with the separate probes. Another thing I like about the separate probes is that you can push them under the muscle of your jowl or cheeks, which you can't do with the Nuface types because the probes just sit on the skin. Plus everyone's face is different in length and width, making the distance between muscles different. So a glove or separate probed type device just makes sense to me.
BTW, If you are ordering from hsn.com website and it is your first time, use the code C56574 to get 15% off. I got mine for $75 a couple months ago when there was 25% off coupon. For that price, I figured there was very little risk in giving it a go. |

thanks for the replies...
Kiki - why do you hate it???
I have been using the lightstim for about 6 weeks now and I think I can notice a little firming - but I really need extra lift in the eye area so Im hoping the facemaster will work.
I probably am going to order it from HSN - unfortunately Ive ordered from them 100 times before so I cant use the discount. But thanks anyway.
They offer a trustworthy 30 day trial - right??

mb935, I'm not Kiki, but from what I've heard, a lot of ladies dislike the FaceMaster because you have to use 2 hands to operate it. You must be looking in a mirror and strictly devoting your time to doing the treatment, plus if I recall correctly, it takes at least 30 minutes or so. That's why ladies like the NuFace and Tua Viso so much - one hand operation. Just what I've heard, wonder what Kiki will have to say ... |

What MermaidGirl said pretty much hits the nail on the head... For me, it's just a hassel.. Plus I just didn't see any results like I had with the Connie Stevens Time machine, and now the Dermal Tone.. I do get a lip plumping.. Did with both the TM and DT.. Also placement for cheeks, is below the bone and it plumps, I think... I do have chipmunk cheeks tho...LOL
The DT does have 3 probes, for 3 different areas, and as long as you're in the general area, if your placement isn't perfect, you are still getting the benefits.. Where as, in my understanding when I was using the Face master, you had to be pretty darn good at getting the placement just right.. I know around the eye you would, or you'll poke them out..
But like anything and everything, not everyone likes the same things.. It just didn't work for me, but Pachouli likes it.. So there ya go... |
