I've been seeing quite a few water boosters and tinctures and would love to know what it does for your health and skin. Are they just a fad or a good way to add vitamins and mineral supplements to your diet? I'm wondering what the difference between vitamin pills and these water boosters are.

I know a 50+ year old lady who take these with her 1.5l of water and she has the most clearest eyes, skin and healthy set of hair but she gets her water boosters prescribed by her homeopathic/herbal medicine doctor. Any thoughts or reviews? Thanks!

I prefer water booster than pill booster for skin because from my experience, water booster works much faster and better. Since I'm a student with a low budget, I can't afford water booster daily so I take pills for my skin instead. I'll get water booster once in a while. It's a luxury product for me, hopefully just for now Very Happy .

Sorry to be so dense, but what exactly is a water booster and what does it do?

Ditto. Would those Emergen-C packets be considered water boosters?

Yes, I too must ask, what the heck are "water boosters?" And what pills do you take for your skin?

I, too, am very curious/interested in the water boosters. Personally, I won't buy anything from Dr Brandt b/c he's "freaky" looking to me Shock I've been eyeing the Borba but it seems VERY $$$. Any feedback/suggestions? TIA Smile

I've tried Dr Brandt's water booster. For those who were asking what it is, his version is a way of getting a stronger intake of polyphenols for example, as found in green tea. One dropper of his water booster (flavours are lemon, pommegranate etc...) equals 15 cups of green tea, without the caffeine. It basically fights free radicals. I put it in my herbal tea. I am obsessed with fighting free radicals, and some of my previous posts have shown.

Does the Dr. Brant booster last very long? How about the taste?

Hi LizaA! Yeah I'll try anything to help my skin and health if it's not harmful! I found something called CellFood (a water booster/detox/electrolyte/mineral/enzyme supplement in drop form) helps. (Whoa! it really flushes you out and gives you some pep so I take it first thing in the a.m. and sip on it all day but quit around 5pm) It has a faint lemony taste which is nice or you can add it to juice. Also, SkinEternal and Hydraplenish (pills) are seeming to help. The Hydraplenish is actually plumping up my lips - read about it on bkkgirls post "Lip Plumper". You can find some of these things at drug stores, and online @iHerb.com. Lots of pure fresh water is always a good thing! Good luck! Skol~ fawnie

I bought my bottle end of October, and my husband and I both put drops in our herbal tea every night, and it's only now coming down to the end of the bottle. I personally like the pommegranate taste, it sweetens my herbal tea without sugar. Look for it at Sephora.
Very Happy

Hi - I haven't tried any of these branded water boosters but I have forayed into different herbal teas and chinese teas to try and improve my general complexion.
