I'm sorry - I'm not good at searches on this site. I tried but got too many responses and none that applied
Has there already been info posted regarding the Facial Flex device? If so, can you point me to it or post feedback here.
Thanks! |

Thanks, Cesce. I had one a long time ago but didn't use it much. Now I need it |

Most of the reviews on the FF have come from me. For me the FF is probably my best weapon against sagging. It could be that I have been faithful using it for two years. Sorry to hear that you nasal labial lines seem worse Cesce. I don't have an answer for that.
If you are sure it is the FF doing that I would STOP using it. |

Furthermore, is it not possible to simulate these exercises by putting clean pinkies in your mouth, pulling at the corners and resisting with your mouth as the device makes the mouth do? Granted, the hands aren't free to do anything else, but do people go around getting other stuff done with their hands while using their facial flex?
If there has been a good conversation here about facial exercise books or devices, I'd love a link or a hint at what keywords to search. |

Winnie,
I am interested in the product. QVC package does not include a DVD. What is you opinion of how essential is the DVD? Also how often Elastic Resistance Bands should be replaced? The package includes 12 6-oz flex-bands and 12 8-oz flex-bands. Are the 6 oz and 8 oz resistance bands of varying degrees of resistance?
Thank you. |

There are 6, 8, & 14 oz bands. The Facial Flex comes with the 6 and 8 oz ones. I assume that the different oz. are varying weights of resistance. I've also heard of people doubling up on the bands to increase the resistance.

doba,
I never got the DVD. The instructions are very clear and exercise easy to do.
You should start off with the 6 oz. band for a week or so. Each band should last a week (2 x's a day for 2 minutes). I mainly use the 8 now but approximately 2 x's a week I either double up with the 6 (12) or use the 14. 8 is my favorite as I go SLOW and controlled. If ordering from QVC you might consider getting an extra package of 8. This way you save on shipping and handling.
If you get it feel free to PM me with any questions. |

I received my Facial Flex and have a few questions.
1. Do I need to apply a moisturizer before the exercise? Do you think that it enhances the effects of the Facial-Flex device?
2. What facial muscles do you feel are getting a workout?
Thank you. |

Dobra you don't have to apply any product before using FF. I find when using it, the muscles in my neck and jaw area get the most workout. When I use it, I lean forward, and tilt my head back for maximum performance.

Anya,
When I am using it the muscles in my jaw area get the most workout. However, I don't feel that my neck muscles get any workout at all . Maybe I am doing something wrong?
I don't think that my neck muscles get a similar workout as shown:

Thank you very much. |

Dobra how are you doing the excercises? If you do it in front of a mirror for example, are you noticing any "activity" on your neck muscles? Are you leaning forward slightly and tilting your head back? |

Anya,
Yes, I am doing as you described in front of the mirror. My husband thinks that I don't open my mouth wide enough . I tried to do it again with my mouth more open than before and now my neck muscles are getting some workout , but the muscles in my jaw area get the most workout.
Thank you. |

Sounds like you've got the hang of it now
Results won't be instantanious though - so be patient with it |

also -- as your jaw gets stronger, you'll feel more in your neck. |

I've been using FF since last summer (July maybe?) and woke up one morning in October and WOW I noticed my jaw line was more defined (i.e. what was heading to a double chin, was gone) and my neck was firmer. So probably 3 months Dobra - and I use it twice a day, a.m. and p.m. Actually I use it in between product applications. Its a good way to pass time when you need each 'layer' of product to dry before applying the next |

My use of Facial Flex will be postponed a bit. I'm afraid to use it now that I have a lovely gash over my lip (item fell on me right on the kisser) Ouch!
I'll have to say it seems to be healing up quickly which is amazing considering what it looked like when it first happened. I've been using a Vit. E roll-on and Reiki (healing). |
