Well, I can't believe it, but this is good stuff.
It's like a conditioner for your skin.
You wash yourself as you normally would
then after that you slather this on and
then just rinse it off and I felt a difference the first time. |

I also wanted to add -
I don't use any other Oil of Olay products.
This is the power of samples.
I had received them and just stuck them in the
drawer. Then my legs were itching because I had not taken the time to put on lotion and
wait for it to dry.
I have to admit when I even saw the commercial for it, I scoffed yea right. |

this stuff didn't do anything for me unfortunately. I felt good for about an hour after my shower and that was it. Plus when I was using it I had to use a different towel for my face after getting out of the shower because I didn't want to trasnfer the film of olay to my face. |

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you waffle.
This is what I love about this place "tried it and here is the truth opinion about it." |

I agree with waffle,
Feels good when your in the shower, but soon after that moisturized feeling is gone.
When I bought this stuff I was looking for something that would replace me having to lotion up my body after my shower (which I hate doing).
But this stuff didn't do the job- feels great in the shower though! |

I tried this type of product a few years ago...think it was aveeno or something. It made my tub soooo slippery. I forgot to warn my husband....I heard him yelp and ran into the bathroom and he was clinging to the shower curtain with a nasty look on his face...."What the HELL did you just use in here". I apologized...shut the door and laughed my butt off. I threw out the bottle later that day...i did remember it feeling nice on my skin...esp in the winter months when I bought it. |

Just personal thing, but I didn't like how the Oil of Olay smelled. I do ,however, love Dove's version. |

I love the smell of Oil of Olay- but then again I am one of those people who loves lots of fragrance.
Olivia, I had the same problem in my tub- it gets dirtier more quickly as well.
But I do agree you skin feels great just after using it, too bad the feeling didn't last long. |

Thanks everyone for your input.
Well, after turning my sister on to this and she did like it. She informed me that Wally World had it marked down and she bought the last two as they are no longer carrying it.
Would someone please let me know what you
like as now I must find something else... |

Purple Jewels,
Dove just came out with a similar product called Dove Cream Oil Body Wash www.dove.com I haven't tried it or the Olay Ribbons but you might like it as well. |

I like Lush's buffy the backside slayer -- although it has exfoliating grains, it is basically a firmer body butter that you put on in the shower and it really works well. |

yeah this stuff is the best. I've been using it since it came out actually. Its better than lotion!! I use the purple one for extra dry skin. I actually found it at walgreens once in the clearance bin and bought every one (large size) for about a buck each..
I buy it on ebay now. Seriously if they ever stop making this stuff I'd be so sad. |

This sounds like just what I need. I live in an extremely dry climate and my skin is definitely suffering because of it. I'm definitely going to try this, or the Dove (depending on what I can find).
Are there any of you out there who've used lotion on top of this? |
