Hi
My Mum has Glaucoma, she's been using the gatineau eye serum for about 4 months now, in fact she got the same kit as me which included, defi-lift, eye serum, throat gel, day and night cream, eye pads etc...
She has got like a stye on the inside of her eye and I was wondering if it could be anything to do with the products......Would anyone know if eye products are safe for people with Glaucoma to use??.. |

If your mother has a stye, this is the result of her probably using an eye product that has been become contaminated with bacteria. This is a form of a staph infection, and I recommend that she use a warm compress to stimulate blood circulation to the area, to fight the infection. She should also toss-out any eye make-up that she has been using, and thoroughly cleanse her make-up brushes. In terms of her new eye product: unless she has personally contaminated the product with bacteria (transferred from her fingers), this ought not be the culprit, and the product is safe to use for those with glaucoma. When in doubt, please consult your doctor, optometrist or opthamologist. |

Thank you very much for the advice, I'll make sure she starts with the warm compresses tonight and sort out her make-up brushs etc... |
